Seemed to numb the area where it was applied well

I leave the cream on for about 5 hours under saran wrap and painter's tape. The doctor simply wipes it away before the lidocaine shot and then the pellet insertion. I was a jumpy mess before this workaround.

Bought for lidocaine content and used for multiple purposes, from label to mosquito bites. It effectively numbs.

Good product at a fair price

Yes you will go numb...IF you put a large amount of product on the site, then cover in a dressing using plastic wrap as the base, for 15-20 minutes. I just wanted to pull an ingrown nail. It wasn't worth the time. But yes, it works. No, its not convenient or quick.

I actually used this to numb my face for a small Botox session and it worked great! I didn’t feel much and it didn’t have a bad odor!

Had some accident which made the problem worse and had an open wound/tissue. I tried Prep H before alone but didn't seem to help tremendously. The discomfort became apparent after 3 days with bleeding and constant pain, so i looked at a lot of products and bought this and Calmoseptine.I found a way that worked for me: whenever I take a shower, i would filled up my bathtub after to create a sitz bath and sit for 15+ min (there are many sitz bath salt sold, or use combo of clea salt and baking soda), that helps tremendously with the swelling. After patting dry, I use this with Prep H on the open wound, then seal with Calmoseptine before bed - it helps shrinking the tissue and make my awareness of the pain lessen. I would do that combo 2-3 times a day.That's a lot for a healing routine for some but it gave me great result. I felt the healing progress by the day. I'm at day 6 my problem is probably 85% gone, i no longer feel aware of that area or pain. I'm keeping up this routine until it's completely healed. Very happy with the result.Not a doctor so you should consult one if you have the chance. This is a temporary way that worked well for me and my problem could be resolved with just this. If you have something worse, see a doctor.
