Works great for small dogs in between actually taking them and getting their nails done. Great product will buy it again.

I like this it did ok. I didnt read thru everything so I didnt know its battery operated. I have a jack russell chihuahua mix and on his 3rd paw brand new batteries started to die and the grinder thing didnt seem to work as well. Granted it's been a while since he was clipped. It's good but would have preferred a corded or usb charged unit.

I thought I would love this tool because it stops if I apply too much pressure, but it turns out if you do not apply enough pressure you are using this tool for 30 minutes and it runs down the batteries. My dog is very good at sitting still and his nails are not difficult to cut. The sandpaper only works for a short amount of time. It is not worth the time or effort into this Dremel tool for dogs nails. I have tried for the past 2 years to not give a bad review and make this tool work. I have had enough time and energy trying to Dremel my dog's nails (I do his nails once every week or every other week, since they grow fast and we have hardwood floors he is scared to be on if his nails are too long). I do not recommend this product, get a real Dremel tool.

It’s alright, nice plastic guard and it works. The sanding wheel that came with it should be replaced, and the motor is too loud that it scares the dogs. Works better as a tool in the shop.

Not as powerful as a corded model but gets the job done without the tangle. Nice because it uses 4 AA batteries that are more likely on hand than the C size that most of the cordless ones and without the concern that a rechargeable battery won't take a charge.

Item definitely didn't perform well. Very awkward to use. Not very powerful. Attempted to file my Chihuahua's nails and no matter how gently you applied the nail to the grinder, it would stall the motor. Took a long time to see any progress. Gave up and finally used regular Dremel to finish the job. Wouldn't really recommend this specific item. I've tried other Wahl products before and was highly pleased with the results but this product was a real let down

C batteries are not easy to come by really and kind of inconvenient however overall this has made doing my dogs nails so much easier. She hates the pressure of the guillotine nail clipper and forget letting me file her nails soft after the fact. This grinds them down easily and was a great purchase overall. I place a towel over her head so she can't see what i'm doing because the whole process has her nervous to begin with but she does not mind the little bit of noise this makes (*it is fairly quiet in comparison*) and the only thing I have to mention is please wear a dust mask when doing this for your dog- otherwise you will be breathing in some nail fragments and while it is or isn't necessarily harmful, I can't imagine you'd really want to inhale that stuff.So overall definitely something I hope to use for a long time coming, and definitely worth the price tag.A great quality product too. And works well for picky or finicky or nervous dogs.

Overall I really like this nail grinder. I was using a Dremel to grind my dog’s nails, but that is very loud and does not have a safety guard since it really isn’t meant for that purpose. This tool is very quiet and does a pretty good job for a battery powered tool. It isn’t as strong as a Dremel, which is to be expected. It does not come with batteries and it takes two C batteries so keep that in mind since that is kind of an odd battery size and you may not have any of these on hand. It comes with extra sanding bits so that was a nice surprise. Would recommend for dogs that are scared by loud noises or by traditional pet nail clippers.

My dog doesn’t love it but doesn’t cower in fear from it, so it’s good! She’s a larger breed of dog, so I had to unscrew the protector and it still works like a charm. Start by lightly applying the dremel on the nail, until you can get fully used to the tool

Para nada ruidosa, bien potente, deja muy bien la uñas de mis canes y sin asustarlos con ruidos. Muy satisfecha.

Its not too noisy so good for nervous dogs, I think it works brilliantly.

Sirve y cumple su propósito, hace poco ruido. Solo es cuestión de que tu mascota acepte usarlo.
