Day Runner 4010214 Terramo Refillable Planner, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, Eggplant

It seems quite nice, but I need something smaller that I can fit in my large purse.

The tab to open/close is hard to use, it does stay closedThe color I chose was nothing like it showed on line, very uglyThe inside is roomy, easy to use & is a great planner

Awesome buy

I was really excited when I got this planner, and I loved it, and thought it was flawless. However, as soon as I put in the inserts I created, I started to see some sever issues with it, that never resolved. Now, after having the planner for 3 months I can review. Lets go bit by bit:The planner comes with everything promised, plus some, which I cant remember all of. It was packaged securely, and seemed to have no damage. I was really excited and happy with the purchase.Durability: the planner feels very thick and durable. the covers are nowhere near flimsy, which is a plus. However, the cover also feels very much so like a pillow with a rubbery covering. it makes for a nice feel, but adds some thickness that make the planner description misleading. Also, this planner does NOT lay flat. Which i hate.Color: The color on the outside is more of a muted plum than that beautiful purple, and the inside is pretty much a nasty green beige color.Front Cover: has a small metal day timer logo, along with a very durable and sturdy metal loop for the closure.Front inside cover: After you get past the color, you begin to love the accordion style folder, but there are 4 pockets for business cards or id's or credit cards or whatever, which are all very tight and have a hard time holding them. Also, there is space for atleast 3 more of these pockets, that are empty, which I hardly understand.Back cover: has a tight pocket for papers, etc. not bad, but not really a plus either. Its just kindof there.Back inside cover: has a slit in it for a note pad. When the note pad is used this slit becomes useless.Rings: the planner is described as 1.5 inches thick. This led me to think the rings had to be atleast one inch. the rings are .5 inches! this is ridiculous! the pillow feel to the planner sacrifices space which is very valuable. My custom inserts that I made allow for 12 months, each month having a month on two pages and week on two pages. I also have no more than 5 pages of misc. pages for a wishlist, to buy, goals, etc. I cant do that in this planner. I cant fit more than 8 months of my inserts in here comfortably. This is the biggest make or break thing for me. I simply cant do what I want to do.Closure: Lastly, the closure. Mine goes in and out just fine. It never catches, and even after 3 months of this awful rubbery leather rubbing up against it tightly, it has not torn apart. Which I like. However ,after just a few minutes of it being closed, the clasp comes undone. Whats the point of having any closing method at that point?Overall, I think this planner would be ideal for you if you are looking for a cheap, binder style planner, that isn't too large, that is relatively inexpensive compared to a brand name planner binder, and if you don't need tons of space.However, for my purposes, I hate it. Its not functional for every day, constant use, or for people who need lots of space. If I was generally reviewing, 3 stars. For me, I wish I could give it zero. For what I got, I feel as if I paid too much for something that wont assist my lifestyle.

I'd like to give 4.5 stars. It's not perfect, but it's probably as close as I'll get and still have portability.I wanted a zippered 5.5x8.5 binder, and this is the most reasonably priced. What is not mentioned anywhere on the Amazon page, is that ring size on this one is 3/4 of an inch. That's pretty small. The standard is 1 and 1.5 inch rings. Strangely though, the outer dimensions are larger than many of the 1 inch binders I saw in the stores... Maybe that is a function of the zipper.The magnetic outer flap holds a pad of 5.5x8.5 notepaper as well as credit cards. The pen holder here is too small to be of use, but that isn't an issue since there is plenty of space left in the zippered part for pens to roll around freely.There is a side pocket inside the zippered area which is long enough to hold business letter sized envelopes as well as odds-and-ends papers which don't fit anywhere else.The binder comes with the following items:Tabbed blank monthly calendarsSamples of the 2 page per weekOne pad of notepaperOne business card insertOne plastic pouch insertI'm not sure if we're allowed to provide links in a review, so google "DIY Planner" for a very excellent web page with lots of templates for printing your own planner sheets. La calidad de la piel, muy mala. El compartimento exterior es muy pequeño y si intentas poner una pluma, no cierra. A ese compartimento le hace falta un broche, un imán o algo.

Great product and good quality for the price. HOWEVER I thought it came with the refill (I misread the description) and discovered that it's next to impossible to find the refill that I need in Canada (I need Day pages) . I had to return it because it's no use to me. I found 1 refill on amazon for $30 but it was floral print, couldn't find plain anywhere but Staples and they were charging $50 for it - the same amount I paid for the binder?!? It seems it might be easier to get them in the US, even the At a Glance website was sold out.Small note, it would be good if the pen holder was inside the binder not in the outer flap. And similar to what other customers noted the front magnetic flap doesn't close properly if you put the notepad or a pen inside.

It arrived in a timely fashion and met my expectations. It is a little bit bulky but otherwise it’s great!
