This is a nice little tape and at a great price imo. Its abit stronger than your typical fridge magnet, not by much but abit. It's nice and thin, which helps with certain things and plenty sticky. For me I used the tape to make custom PC dust filters. The bottom of my computer has a fan vent but no filter, so I bought a roll of filter and framed a square of it using this tape.And because my PC case is not magnetic and the tape is fairly thin I just made a matching tape frame on the PC. Now the filter frame magnetizes nicely to the mating frame on the PC case and I have a nice, removable dust filter now. I wouldn't use this tape for super heavy duty tasks but I have another magnetic tape for that which is ALOT chunkier but alot stronger and more expensive. But for light diy projects this tape is great!

I have ordered this many times and love the product. This time, however, the adhesive backing is dry and does not stick. 5 stars for every other roll I have ordered, 0 stars for this roll.

It's okay but dont count on it to hold up anything but paper. I got it to put on the back of a parking pass, then put the magnetic side on my motorcycle to avoid putting a sticker directly on it. It barely stays on, a high enough gust of wind (more like a deep breathed blow out of the mouth) would take it right off. The only practical use I see is for holding up paper (indoors), or paperclips. But dont expect anything crazy. It's nothing wrong with the product (why its still 4 stars). It's just magnetic tape in general, can only hold feather weighted things. The delivered product is just the tape and dispenser though, there's not that paper and plastic packaging. That didn't bother me at all but still worth mentioning

Would love to give this five stars because this is a much-needed product and is simple to use. The magnets tear off easily and are thin, which is important for what I use it for. I use it to post paper on magnetic boards. A six-inch strip will hold up an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper just fine and then can easily be stacked later on without that bulkiness other magnets have. The only problem is the adhesive does not stick! I found that applying some cellophane tape over each magnet strip helps to keep it attached to the paper. Wish I didn't have to do that though. If the adhesive were stronger this magnetic tape would be awesome!

I use magnetic tape a lot in my classroom. We are in our new school building and I have a lot of magnetic boards. I use this tape for posters and flash cards. I have my schedule, calendar and spelling words up with this tape.

So I'm giving this five stars because it was exactly what I was looking for, but like others have said, it is **very** weak strength. I'm making a large-print magnetic poetry set for our photo-guestbook at our wedding, so I wanted lightweight magnetic strips that would be easy to move around, and these are ideal. That being said, if you wanted to hold much more than a small piece of paper, and/or wanted a magnet that wouldn't fall off easily, you might want to go for something lighter. Incidentally, if you like the idea of home-made large-print magnetic poetry, I used Times New Roman, size 45 with 1.5 spacing, and it seems about right. One roll was enough for about 4 pages of words with those settings :)

I was intrigued...magnetic tape! Oh the uses I could put this toward, the things I could do! Well my excitement was quickly brought back into check once I received the product. Don't get me wrong, it's magnetic and it's tape that is easily cut. However, it has a very light magnetic field, so this is best for extremely light duty stuff. Want to make a little paper label and stick it to the fridge? This will work. Want to replace the back of a normal fridge magnet? Not so much. This would not be up to the task of holding anything heavier than a piece of paper or small square of very light cardboard. In spite of that, I still like it...hey, it's magnetic and it's tape...that in itself is pretty cool.

This is the best magnetic tape for white board use. I’m a teacher and this is by far the best because it’s so thin. Other kinds tend to start curling and all my things fall off the white board. This tape is for light things like single sheets of printing paper or card stock. It will also hold posters if I put tape in the right places. This would not hold anything heavy duty.

Good value (when I bought them but now a higher price). Not yet tried it but looks good.

This may not work for heavier material, but for my word wall at work, this is perfect. It leaves no residue on the chalkboards and makes for easy decoration changes. Plain paper laminated can easily be held by this magnetic tape.

I was using this to stick up recipe cards and small papers and it was the perfect thickness and width for that. Will buy more definitely

I ordered this product once and it was great. So I went back a few days later and ordered another one. The second one I got had no stick left on the sticky side of tape.
