These socks go by your foot size, not your boot size! I’m a ten boot but a medium in socks. These are warm, but thin. I would wear these with dress shoes, tennis shoes, running shoes etc. for boots you would need a second pair (I have these on now with this as the main socks and a pair of small wool socks over them and it’s a perfect combo) of socks to really stay warm in boots if you get cold feet. So far landscaping in the 30-50 degree range they are warm. Not to be confused with the warrior alpaca second to none boot socks, those are much thicker and warmer than these and would prefer those over these for boot socks.

I want the thickest, warmest quality winter socks on the market. These fall FAR below my hopes and expectations.My go-to winter socks are the Thorlos Extreme Cold/Mountaineering and for a lower price, they are significantly thicker. I'd say at least 50% thicker fabric for the feet in particular, obviously the essential area for winter socks.Maybe in the end the Thorlos socks are the best on the market, but I will continue to venture through this little fixation of mine.

The foot part fits fine but the rest of it, up to the top that should fit just below the knee is extremely tight. My legs are not that large, these shouldn't be so tight. They are nice and warm but I have to fold the top down 3 times do they are like crew socks. Defeats the whole purpose of knee sock's.

I got really excited when I got them - they were perfect! Soft, long, comfy, alpaca! They got a hole in them during the first wearing. I even had on really sturdy hiking boots, even though we weren't doing anything intensive that day. Nevertheless, a big hole. I hate giving things one star, but the product is basically trash now.

I like these socks! They are my 3rd pair from this company . Although on the thin side-very warm- I like the thinness to lessen bulk in fashion boots, but they did the job and keept me warm in 30 degrees weather walking in snow! The best feature is the flat toe seam -truly will not irritate sensitive feet! That’s why I spend $$$$ on these socks! I also have a pair for sleeping -feel like silk! Will not bind!

Super long (to your knees), stretchy, and super warm. I've tried socks after socks from 100% scratchy wool that are stiff as a board to synthetic materials that promise WARMTH and boy, have I dumped tons of $$ into empty promises until this sock! I will be purchasing more of these. Are they expensive: yes, but their promise of warmth and comfort are true. Stop wasting your hard earned $$ and buy these socks.

Excellent, Comfortable, Breathable Socks! These are a grand-slam. Very comfortable on my feet, breath well on warm days, warm on cool days, and the bright red is eye catching...got some chuckles from my wife when she saw them for the first time. Love it!

The picture shown is of a wide ribbed sock that is especially wide/loose at the top. It is perfect for a diabetic. They send a much tighter sock that is not what is shown in the picture.
