Duluth Forge Dual Fuel Vent Free Gas Stove - Model FDSR25, 26,000 BTU, Matte Finish, Remote Control

Great product, I live in Aurora, CO and it works great!!! Super easy to set up, love the convenience of the thermostat and also very easy to lite if it's fully off. Short delivery time and the company that delivered helped me bring it in and let me unpack it before they left to make sure everything was okay. I have cats so it's especially nice that the top does not get hot enough to burn you as they like to jump on top of it (the front however does so if you have kids consider that). Since its a no vent, I got a CO2 detector and have it right next to it and it has never gone off - super efficient! Really cranks out the heat, we opted not to get the built in fan and just have a free standing fan that sits near it (lot less expensive and does the same thing) some sort of fan is useful to distribute the heat out in to the room more evenly though.

The stove came on a truck and it was difficult to unload. Once in the house, I could not find the remote control and this stove has NO MANUAL SETTINGS. Plus the manual was missing so I don't know how to do anything. After a month of tring to get this right, I turn on the stove and it gets the house really hot, but no way to turn down... Then every night it shuts it self down around 2-3 am and the pilot goes out. I think its the O2 sensor. I live at 8000 feet elevation and there is no warning about this being an issue.So I email and ask for a manual and remote. UPS says they delivered but no signature and I never got it. Now they say they'll send a remote and manual again... Still no remote and I'm so glad I have backup heat.The summary is DON"T BUY THIS STOVE!!! Service sounds good but follow through is lacking. I want to return and sent them an email that has been ignored. So alas DON"T BUY THIS STOVE>I will update in a week if things change and if they send repair parts to a brand new stove, and / or refund the stove!

This is the second one we bought for our house. One for our bedroom and one for the kitchen. Love the looks of it and the heat.

We received the stove broken, the door wouldn't close because it wasn't aligned properly with the metal door stop so we had to fix it upon arrival. Not a great start when you order a brand new product that requires maintenance!

This is an excellent gas stove and does a great job of heating our large den and beyond. Very satisfied with the speed of the shipment and the product. The side plates do not come with it and would love to order them but can't find a source anywhere!

Cheap sheet metal...poorly made, returned for credit

This is the second unit I have purchased, first was 5 years ago. This one is for my trophy/man cave room. First unit came with the blower standard, had to purchase separately for this one (bummer a few more $$$) oh well. These units flat out work well, the blower/fan is very quiet and will move air without a draft feel. They are pricey compared to other units BUT well worth the extra money.

This $600 purchase was 100% disappointing. I contacted the manufacturer upon installation due to the gas regulator leaking. The rep guided me to purchase a replacement part and upon receiving it I immediately knew it was not the correct part. I called in again and the rep stated they do not sell replacement parts for the gas regulator even though the manual lists it as a replacement part. Basically gave me the runaround and stated only a certified gas installer should install the item. I informed her that I am a certified hvac tech and the call disconnected. I tried calling back and could not reach anyone. This company is bogus and I will have to now go through the process of reporting to the BBB. Buyer Beware!
