Two things persuaded me to purchase this site. One was its size and shape; the second its apparent sturdiness and slip resistant build. I wanted a go-to magnifier that could be left out and resorted to at will without fear of damage yet would largely fulfil needs for magnification. While not the largest viewing area this magnifier does the job. I also like the composition of its exterior which supports my original desire to have something handy that would withstand the rigors of continual use. The handle is long and has a non-slip exterior which supports that purpose. This is good magnifier for everyday use will withstand daily wear and tear.

this is a low quality magnifier - great for a toddler, but not an adult.

I purchased this magnifying glass because I was unable to read "expiration dates" on coupons - LOLI wanted one without bells & whistles - this one is a good size and the handle is sturdy. if you drop it- it should be fine. My mother saw it and wanted one too - she is getting it for Mother's Day this weekend (as a surprise).

I knew the magnification would be very good, but was surprised at how easy it was to hold - and keep holding

With the magnifier glass I can now see all the things I was missing out on.
