It's a veg steamer that fits inside a saucepan, and works nicely. No problems, and should last ages.

I was told to get one to use in my ninja for potatoes..it worked really well. But the only thing wrong with it is it doesn't close when you turn the handle..so you have to do that with your fingers which isn't good when it's hot. Bit still worked well.

Much cleaner and effective than bamboo steamers , just bob it over a pan of boiling water and your in business

Very easy to use. Serves two portions. Much nicer tasting veg than boiling them. Compact storage.

I picked this design as it has the plastic handle to lift out the steamer, rather than the metal ones which get very, very hot! Folds up,so easy to store. It fits to the size of the saucepan, with little feet to lift it off the bottom if needed. Very good product used every day since I bought it. No more soggy, overcooked green veg.

I see that the Brand is Better Jonny, but they are not proud enough of it to put it on the box. What annoyed me on receipt was to find that their concept of a detachable handle (see pictures and text), is to unscrew three small screws, and then find somewhere to store the handle, the screws and the fixing plate. It is not realistically detachable. And the dimensions given in the description vary considerably depending on where you actually read them. The most important dimensions are the ones that reflect the smallest diameter pan that it will fit into and the maximum dimension when fanned out. These dimensions are respectively 14cm (5.5 Inches) and 23cm (8.8 Inches). The concern I have with the careless way the product is described is whether it is also consistent with the way the product is manufactured. I have a similar sized steamer basket from Kitchencraft (who put their name on the box), and I prefer the way that their steamer basket stays out to where you put it, rather than springing back to where the walls are vertical unless you open it up fully. First time using it, the springing back caused me to drop it, so now look out for that going forward. Regarding whether it is stainless or not, time will tell.

Happy with the steamer used it to do some chicken easier than getting the big steamer out.
