Q: Does this smoker work well? Is it prone to breakdowns?

I have had my smoker for awhile now, the only moving part is a small blower fan. I have had zero issues with mine, just as long you clean it after 10 uses or so with regular soap and water. I do suggest getting additional screen meshes if you plan to use it alot.

Q: Does it come with the dome?

No it does not..I bought a marble cheese board and cake dome I order to smoke 4 glasses at a time
