I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the lamps 'boom'. Honestly, the boom and desk/shelf mount are likely worth the asking price of the lamp. The overall quality is A-OK with solid metal construction and no sharp edges or burs that I noticed. The boom clamp that holds the lamp to your desk or shelf is also very nice. I expected it to be of inexpensive, injection molded plastic but it is made from cast aluminum (or an aluminum alloy). Even the clamp is insulated to protect the top of your desk or shelf when the lamp is clamped down. The clamp screw appears to be steel and everything is well made and finished. As for the LED lamp head? It is fine. It does what the descriptions says it should. All three color temperature ranges work well (although I could check their color temperature, I didn't and wont on a $20 LED lamp) and it is dimmable. I haven't checked for flicker yet but I did not notice any flicker that is sometimes obvious with half-wave mains rectification without adequate capacitor reserve/filtering/smoothing. If it flickers (and it might but I haven't noticed/looked for it) it isn't as noticeable as other less expensive LED lamps. Overall, there is absolutely nothing to complain about at twice the asking price. Well, that isn't entirely true. If you spent twice the price of this LED lamp you would expect a power supply/brick/wall wart to be included with your purchase. This lamp is powered via USB cable but no USB power adapter is provided. This is less of a complaint and more informational. This cuts down on e-waste and product costs and who doesn't have a spare 2A /5V USB phone charger laying around anyway? This is a great lamp that is well built and does what it says on the tin. A serious bargain for a solid adjustable LED lamp.

I am very pleased with this lamp. It fits my needs perfectly. It provides multiple adjustments to move around and twist. The control buttons feel very positive when activated. It pretty good range of brightness and color temperature. Because the light strip is long and covered, it provides a soft non harsh light (somewhat diffused) and therefore low contrast providing soft edge shadows making it very pleasing to the eyes. The power cord comes with a USB cable plug that allows you to plug it to a computer when using it, or a power bank for portability or loss of electricity in the house. I plug it to a multi USB plug box where I power my cell, headphones and other USB items. The only 2 negative comments I could do is that it doesn't include a wall outlet adapter for those people that don't have extras laying around in the house. The cable is rather short not allowing to plug into wall outlet unless you use an extension and the USB adapter. That was not an issue for me so I didn't discount my rating.

As shown in the product description, this lamp works great. The light is nice and bright and works as described. Unfortunately, we wanted to hang it upside down as a work light. For that purpose, it doesn't work because the screw that holds the base clamp is pressure only (doesn't go through). When hanging upside down, this causes the lamp to rotate as the screw's pressure is not sufficient to hold the weight of the lamp from spinning in the clamp assembly. We did try it on a desk just to confirm the lamp was not defective. On a desk, it works entirely as intended and stays in place. It is just the base clamp that cannot support the weight if clamped upside down. In other words, if you intend to use it as shown, it's a great lamp. If you intend to hang it upside down, you will need to modify the base clamp to make it work. We ended up returning it though as there was also a light buzzing sound when the light is on. Again, this would not be an issue if using it as intended as the buzz was not audible from a distance greater than one to two feet but where we were attempting to put it was just a few inches from one's head.

Overall I really like the lamp. I wanted something I could clip onto my bedside table so I could reduce the amount of time I used my iPhone flashlight. This serves the purpose. I can adjust the light, as well as the positioning of the lamp, in several different ways, which I like. I’m sorry for the pic.. there was too much going on in the background to really see the lamp so I colored in the background to highlight it.The 2nd part of the review is about the customer service. They get 5 stars. I was missing the clamp part of the lamp. One email to them and they mailed the part out that day.

I'm really liking this lamp so far. It was easy to install, although instructions would've been nice. I bought it for studying since I'm a night owl, and I prefer to study/read at night and my desk area was a little dark. It has worked very well so far and I love that I can adjust it, it really is flexible. The only thing I was not a fan of was the USB port it comes with, I had to find an outlet in order to plug it in and get it to work. Other than that, it's a nice, modern, lamp that gets the job done! I love that it doesn't take up any room when I'm studying and it stays still. I would recommend it!

I was looking for a lightweight LED light for my workbench and this purchase was exactly what I needed. It's lightweight and easily mounted to the back edge of my workbench. The light has three color settings and best of all it was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend it.

Received this item very quickly after I ordered it, but it was a disappointment when I opened the package. First of all there was a big crack in the housing of the light. Second, the description of the light was inaccurate as the bracket holding the light was not big enough. It could not be clamped on my desk which is 2 inch thick. The description lists 2.3 inch. And last, the brightness was very disappointed and hardly light my desk.

Good price. Barely bright enough for reading. Stays cool. The table edge clamp is great if that is what you situation requires. Color is ok for reading. The three color feature is a completely worthless gimmick but it doesn't hurt anything. It has no power supply, you have to provide power from a plug in USB power supply. I wish it was a brighter. Don't put it near radio. Creates static and ruins reception

Me gusta el que pueda manejar diferentes niveles de brillo y de color para diferentes necesidades.Me gustaría que la lampara pudiera girar a cualquier ángulo, lo hace el brazo pero no la lampara.

No charger included with this but luckily I had a spare USB port on monitor.Its small enough to not take a lot of space but bright enough to light up your world. Nice touch of different light levels and 3 different light types, bright white, cream (probably a better description of this one but it looks cream) and Blue (nice and easy on your eyes at night.)

Used as part of home office setup.Gives off a great light for use with display screen equipment.Nice and tall, 28", although not as tall as it appears in the picture.Runs off laptop USB or as in my case, a multi point charger under the desk.With multiple brightness and colour temps, ideal setup is easy.

el diseño, la calidad de los materiales y la manufactura están excelentes... sólo no incluye el cargador aunque le queda casi cualquiera de celular por el voltaje y amperaje.
