I'm from the old school when you didn't wear a helmet riding bikes/scooters but then again drivers weren't out to try and kill you when you did ride back then. Hence the purchase of the helmet. I personally do not like the style of bike helmets so I wanted one that looked more like a hat and this works perfectly.Helmet has a nice leather like feel, is lightweight and fits my head with a scarf on. The strap adjustment was a bit tricky but I finally got it to fit firmly.The padding is comfortable and didn't make me sweat during use. I haven't fallen with it on so I'm not sure how well it will protect you head but the inner shell is similar to that of the hard hat baseball helmets so I know they can take a ball being hurled at about 80 to 100 mph, I'm pretty confident it can handle a topple off a scooter going 20 mph... I personally don't want to find out... Lol.Overall item is well made and I believe it is a good purchase.UPDATE : JULY 16, 2021Fell off my scooter on June 15th face down. Helmet took front fall pretty well (front of rim is scrapped up but my head is OK... My hands and knees are jacked up but my head is A - OK👌🏾) Glad to know the helmet works.

My grandson loved this helmet for his ebike.

This hat is stylish and very comfortable. The visor is helpful in the sun. However, if you want something that will actually offer protection in a crash, do your brains a favor and spend a few bucks more to find one with MIPS (multi-directional protection system). This thing is a lightweight shell with thin interior padding: better than nothing, but not by much.

I like item because it gives me more shade for my eyes,when the sun is low in the sky during the winter months. And it keeps my head warm when I’m biking around in the winter.

I measured carefully before buying this - very cute design but I discovered when scootering, the visor catches the wind and pushes the helmet to the back of your head. It does not help to tighten the under chin strap because doing that just makes the strap tighter but does not secure the front of the helmet in place. The design is flawed - chin strap should be forward a couple inches to help prevent this from blowing to the back of the head.

I wanted a safety helmet that looked like a ball cap. This is it. It looks sturdy and is sturdy. Yet, it is light and feels great. It was not easy to look at all the alternatives. This was the correct choice.

Okay, so this looks sort of cool. That's the only positive thing about it. The fit is way off. It rests on, and puts pressure on, the forehead while the sides are loose. I imagine it would cause a headace in sort order. The super thin foam liner provides no shock absorbtion. This will NOT protect your skull or brain if you take a bad fall and I'm already kooky enough. 🤣 My helmet is going back and I won't mind wearing a nerdy helmet because it will do its job, which is why I wear a helmet. It should not be considered a fashion statement because it is safety gear.

I haven’t used it yet still too much snow! But it does fit very well and does help block the sun. Looking forward to using this spring and until the following winter

Je n'ai pas prévu de faire beaucoup de trottinette ni d'aller bien vite du coup j'ai acheté ce casque qui me paraissait un peu fun et je suis ravie, j'en ai même acheté deux, un noir et doré pour moi un noir et argent pour mon chéri.La protection n'est pas là meilleure mais nous elle nous conviendra et je tiens particulièrement à féliciter le livreur qui a pris le soin d'ouvrir le carton afin de rentrer les deux casques dans ma boîte aux lettres bravo Monsieur ou Madame et encore merci🙏

The helmet is very comfortable to wear due to its light weight and padded interior.I intend to use mine to protect my vulnerable bald head when doing DIY work around the house (especially in the attic) and garden. My initial impressions are so positive that I have ordered a second one in case I mislay the first one. It is also very stylish looking and pairs perfectly with my blue coloured work clothes.
