Once I finally got this thing to screw in, I had to dump some ice. Let me explain. I followed the instructions and soaked it, etc. For it into the fridge as thwfilter and the first bucket of ice looked like it was half charcoal. Dumped it and the next batch was fine. Tastes clean, if that makes sense. I'd use this filter again.

Ok, I went 4 stars because the funny taste initially, was ok for Coffee and doG, but it took almost a week to clear up. (Why only 3 on flavor. I could say 4 overall, but initially? YUKOtherwise seems to do the job as expected.

Researching filters for your fridge shouldn't be an ordeal, but I was surprised to find it just so.While many claimed to use nano-carbon-sky-meteors to bionically enhance the fortitude of your local bull water mouse, very few actually a) outlined what standards and criteria they met (or filtered anything to in that manner) and b) didn't just flavor water. This filter is one of the few that does. Does it? Who knows. the filter lasted on 30 days (yes we followed the instructions). this was for home use only. i would have returned the used ones if i was within that timeframe. you get what you paid for.

It took severely tries to get it installed and leaked a lot at first. Seems to be okay now but I was worried for awhile it wouldn’t work out.

Exact match, frig is kinda old so was concerned it would fit.

It works just fine and was MUCH cheaper than the filters purchased in the past.
