Well Build
Absolutely loved this project. Will build and best of all light weight.

A light and stable tripod, with a very good height, great for backpacking and outdoor photography.
Great for all conditions, even when it's windy. When it's windy, it is necessary to either hang the backpack from the column hook, or by attaching a stone bag.

Monopod "mode" has a little play at the seam
I only used it for a week, and so far my thoughts on the tripod are its very versatile with the different configurations. The portability is decent and It's stable enough for the hobbiest photographer. The lowest "mode" is a bit tedious to get to and you need to carry extra tools. The ball head isn't that adjustable mainly either locked or loose but can have some friction but isnt smooth (it can be swapped out atleast). My only complaints are the monopod "mode" has a little wobble at the seam and the leg lock triggers seem a bit cheap and the one spring has become loose but holds in the notches for now but will probably give at some point.

monopod leg is longer than other legs
the monopod leg is longer than other 2. generally love the build quality and compactness. but cant get past the 1/4 inch difference in height. easy to even the height by adjusting leg, but when storing, it means having to adjust the 2 other legs just so you can have it stand without damaging ball head. thats too much time and inconvenience. could be just a one off defect, but had to return.

Rock Solid - A Slam Dunk
I have been searching for a compact, high-quality tripod for when mobility is critical, or at the very least, important. There has always been a need for such compact tripods, and now that vlogging is common, even more so.This tripod checks all the boxes for me. Let's go through them. It's all about size and weight. This tripod folds down to 13". On the compact end, inches make a big difference. The most compact tripod I had before this one, was 14". I thought that was the limit. This is the new champ. The carbon fiber is strong and light. All of my compact tripods are made of carbon fiber, so I am not surprised. However, this tripod folds up more nicely than my other compacts. With the others, I have to fiddle with the head until I can get the feet to fold around the head just right. Often I come close and the legs aren't quite parallel when completely folded. With this tripod, it's a breeze to fold it up perfectly.Stability is a must-have. I have another carbon fiber tripod at the same price. That tripod rattles when the legs are fully extended. This tripod is solid whether folded or extended.Another category, I call "Attention to Detail". It means how well a product is designed and manufactured. This tripod is designed well and manufactured with attention to detail. The leg extensions and twist locks slide and work smoothly. As for the ball head, I noticed that when the ball is completely loose, there is still a little resistance. I'm used to ball heads becoming completely loose. I changed my mind. I now prefer the little bit of tension that keeps the ball from flopping when completely loosened. One more sign of attention to detail is the round piece of metal, like a little rod under where the quick release plate goes. At first I didn't know what it is for. It's explained in the manual, by the way. Anyway, after putting the quick release plate in position, but not yet tightening it down, I noticed that the metal piece prevented the quick release plate from accidentally sliding out. That's very important, as I had to learn the hard way, when my camera slipped out of the head on one of my other tripods. I remember the sickening feeling when my camera bounced on the concrete. That can't happen with this head and quick release plate. One of the legs is removable for use as a monopod, there is a hook for adding weight in case you need more stability, and there is an attachment that looks like a little extension. That attachment is for when you spread the legs as wide as possible and the tripod becomes very low to the ground.A nice touch is that a cell phone holder comes with the tripod, as does a remote shutter release which attaches to the tripod legs. The remote is out of the way even when the tripod is folded. You could buy both separately, but it's so nice to have it included. Finally, the fold-out user's manual is detailed, with ample illustrations. It can be a little confusing because of the detail, but once you catch on, you can learn quite a bit. It even includes advice on how best to do things. If you read the manual, you will learn every nuance of the product. For example, I saw an O-ring on the shaft just under the ball head. O-rings are almost always for sealing, so I wondered what it was for. Reading the manual, I found out that it is there as a shock absorber should you release the tension too quickly on the center column, causing your camera to descend too quickly. The O-ring is a little bumper. Now that's attention to detail. This tripod checks all the boxes in the compact tripod category. It's just about as small as you can expect, the fit and finish is good, the design is clever, and the overall quality is as good as it gets. Highly recommended.

Instructions Deficient
I tried to turn the tripod into a monopod but cannot understand their instructions, so will be returning. Beyond that, not impressed with build quality or ratcheting system for legs.

Many clever design points, super-compact and lightweight.
This tripod is small enough to fit in your luggage or camera bag with room to spare - it's really compact. Of course the trade off is a lot of short sections, each getting thinner and thinner. The bottom segment is less than 1/2" across. Fully extended, including the two section center-post, the tripod top is even with my chest - I'm 6 foot tall. So I need to duck down a bit to use it. My GF is 7" shorter and it's fine for her.Seeing the spindly bottom sections really mage be wonder about stability. The lower sections WILL flex. With my 200MM lens and full-frame DSLR, there was some bend. I had to pay attention and make sure the lens was directly over a leg. While it will work on big cameras, I would never let go of it. Maybe if three sections were extended I'd be comfortable leaving it alone. The rubber feet pull off and you can thread in sand/dirt spikes. These also have holes that are used to tighten them up. The rubber feet WILL fit over these. The first thing I did was install the spikes then put the feet over them. Best of both worlds. The ball head is surprisingly nice. Locks well, smooth action, Arca-Swiss style plate. The center column can pull out and be reversed to hand the camera upside down. There's also a low-profile mount - remove the post, put in this adapter, the camera can be a few inches off the ground (1st photo.)As for quality, all aluminum is anodized. Everything is screwed or pinned - no crimping here. Everything just looks finished - obviously there's some good quality control. The monopod is clever - the mono leg simply screws out (there's an indicator on it) and you're up and going in under a minute. Again - it's spindly when fully extended. Is the tripod strong? Yep. I press down pretty hard - enough to flex one leg in almost 4 inches. Nothing broke or collapsed. It flexes well and bounces back. Of course this also means that a heavy camera can sway.I have a few travel tripods - this is the smallest pro-quality one. There's always trade-offs. If you want compact and light, you lose some height and stability. But this tripod is the best of both worlds and a good compromise between size, weight, strength and stability.

Excelente producto
