BeeWiStorm Bee Bluetooth Controlled Helicopter for V2.1 and Above Android Devices

Great little device easily controlled from your Android phone. Bluetooth control is easily set up and much more reliable than the plug-in units you see around. Controls in the App are intuitive and easy and the 'copter responds well. Takes a little time to get the hang of the motion controls but when you do you can maneuver the 'copter around easily. The flashing coloured LED lights are great and I often find myself flying the BeeWii around at night in a dark room... great fun!

Received it today. Charged it. Found and read full manual on their website. Easily paired the Bluetooth connection. Have tried flying it with both touch and tilt methods. Found the left/right control far too sensitive. Never managed to get a stable flight for long enough to test the forward/back control. Tried it outdoors too as it was almost calm - more room to safely crash it on the lawn. However; the slightest draft of wind sends it briskly off course. Time spent so far trying is one hour. Will try again another day.

My father bought this for me as a fun toy for a 31 yr old, who likes his gadgets. Half expecting this to get boring or break after the first few flights, I can honestly say that this is a tremendous product. The Android app installs very easily, is user friendly and connects to the helicopter with no problems. I have flown it indoors, outdoors in light winds, crashed it many times onto hard surfaces and it is still 100% functional with barely a scratch on it. This toy can really take a beating and you will have a lot of fun honing your flying skills. The battery does not last much longer than 10-15 mins of solid flying, but then it is about the same time to fully recharge, so it doesn't matter. The tilt motions on the phone take some getting used to and are quite sensitive, but once you master that, the helicopter is very controllable and agile. Highly recommended.
