Don't buy!
I love them until I had seen the left a black residue on my wrist!Few hours later, still haven't been able to wash out--as it turns out--dye on my wrist.I only had hair tie on wrist during 30 min nap.

Highly Recommended: 1 Tie Lasts 1.5 months, No Hair-aches, & Very Little Hair Bump
I bought these mainly for the no hair headache claims and I was frankly tired of the no tear hair ties that still wound up with a clump of my hair. I bought the 100 solid ties pack for ~$10 on Prime day. They arrived on the 14th and I've been using them since they arrived.I haven't had a hair-headache since I started using them, and I've wrapped my bun very tight sometimes. I do still have a hair bump when taking it down but it's less often and diminished so much, it's hardly a big deal. Before, it looked like I crimped that terrible halo into my hair. It does occasionally grab a strand or two out, but not only is it much less than the elastic ties, it's much easier to remove them. No more hair ball wraps!Which is really important because when not in use I keep my hair tie on my wrist. (It may not last, but these also look better when you're wearing them as a bracelet, fyi.) Every time I take it out, it's all curled around in a spiral, which ends up staying put. I don't mind and it works just fine. But if you want it to stay straight, you're going to have to fix it yourself every time.Even when I've only wrapped it twice around a bun with almost enough to make it three times, it's secure. Which makes a huge deal because I'm not in pain from wrapping it too tight and the tie lasts longer. My daughter loves them for the same reasons I do. I have fine thick damaged hair while she has thick wavy hair. We both have hair past our shoulder blades. However, the last day or so I've noticed it's bugging me because it's stretched out too much and weak.I've been wearing one black one almost constantly. I often change my hair from down, to ponytail, to bun to half-bun several times during the day depending on different factors. Not because it needs to be re-done because it's loose or anything, but because I want to. I mess with my hair a lot, it helps my attention, attitude, and thinking. (Yeah, I'm weird.)I attached a picture so you can see how it looks after a month and a half of my usage. The next picture is one unused purple tie, a brown one used once and taken down for the picture and again my 1.5 month black one. It's clearly on it's last leg but it lasted through a lot of punishment from me better than the regular no tear elastic ties. Even in it's current state, it's useful. I just wrapped it around a cord to keep it together. :DThey weren't as miraculous as claimed but they are the best hair ties I've used and I love them. And there's 100 of them. That's enough to keep me and my daughter for years, even with my hard use and some being lost. I highly recommend it to anyone.

For those with thinner hair, these hair ties are so-so- but they do work and are a good value!
I have fairly thin hair that is also straight and very smooth, so read on if you are in the same boat:Cons: Since I don't have tons of hair, these simply don't hold my hair as well. The worst is at the gym, I can never get one of these hair ties tight enough that my ponytail doesn't slowly sag and come loose several times during my workout. They also slowly stretch out over a few uses, making them less and less effective over time.Pros: These hair ties don't leave as bad of a dent when I take my hair down- there is still a small dent if I've had my hair up all day, but not like with the regular elastics. They are also clearly gentler on my hair; I find fewer hairs attached to these hair ties after I take my hair down and I can feel that they don't pull on my hair as bad. Also, as someone prone to migraines, they have a gentle hold that doesn't hurt my head at all, even if I fall asleep in them. Regarding one of my cons, even though they do stretch out, they are a great price for 100 hair ties, so even if I toss one every week or two, I still have enough to last for years! Finally, this is neither good or bad, I have found that the knots can be tightened by pulling at the ends or by taking the knots out and re-tying them so that the hole is smaller which helps it hold my thin hair a little better. I can't always get them to just the right size, and it can take some fiddling to get the knot tightened or to unknot and retie, but it can help. It is just annoying that after all of that work, the hair tie is useless a week or so later. Once I run out of these (in 5 years or so) I'm going to just get a spool of the elastic ribbon used for these and make my own smaller versions!

Love these! I primarily got these because I needed multiple colors of stretchy ribbon for a project, but like most women, I can always use more hair ties. I have really long and thick hair and these only will wrap around my bun twice and a pony three times, but it’s enough to keep it in place for several hours, plus I love being able to match my hair ties to basically any outfit I have. The price is great and you get so many you can’t loose getting this. Every color and pattern has at least 2 each and the white and the black had 4 and 5 each. Pictured is the bow holder I made for my daughter by untying the pony’s and stapling/hot glueing them on to the back of a window decor piece I had laying around. Trim off the excess ribbon and voila! Couldn’t be happier with this!

Overall Disappointed
Out of 100 hair ties I only received 85. Ony 10 of them were patterend and the other 75 were solid.

Count what you receive!
Did NOT receive 100 as described and out of what I received, only 10 were prints, the rest solids :(I know it was random and I'm okay with that but I'm not okay with paying for something and only receiving a partial amount!

Use these for face masks and your ears will thank you. Great colors!
After checking with the person volunteering to make face masks, it was determined these 'hair ties' were the perfect length to use of masks. Elastic was impossible to obtain and often causes irritation on the ear for those who wear them for long periods. This worked fine it the place of regular elastic. Untie the know (easy) and it fits well for almost any size...if you need especially small then just snip the ends shorter to fit.Not only does this product not cause the same irritation (it is a softer weave and wider), it provides a little bright cheery color to make the masks more fun to wear.
