Why y'all complain about 3 bolts? They give tool.
It is not bad for what you pay for. But it is NOT a throwing axe.First it doesn't have the weight that it needs.Second because of the plastic handle it got a bounce or spring to it.Don't get me wrong it can "stick" but it is not what it was titled to be. Good little tool for camping.

Very good!
Very good and nice looking at that! I got this for the trail but may buy 2 more for axe throwing as well!

Feels GREAT to me!!
I'm not a tactical throwing sportsman or anything of the sort. I literally use these as props. I've "thrown" them into logs to get good film shots, and they cut into them with ease! They feel sort of "springy" as you throw them!! Looks great too!

Awesome Battle Axe! Sheath, meh...🤔
The media could not be loaded. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is due to the poor design of the Sheath. Its top draw is inconvenient, awkward & not functionally smart. I took it all apart, keeping the base material because it had a stiff inner plastic lining, wrapped it in leather, closed the "top" & added the double strap for a bottom draw. Gravity does all the work when i pop the snaps. Now, for those of you thinking, "it would take way too long to draw with 3 snaps", I say, "the original design was worse still!" Besides, I didn't alter it for draw speed, but rather for a more comfortable draw from a belt held position. I don't have to lift a velcro tab and reach in the sheath to shimmy the axe out, i simply pop the snaps, and it falls into my hand. Needless to say, if I needed to draw something quickly, it sure wouldn't be this battle axe!Aside from all that, the axe itself is fantastic period i've thrown it chopped wood with it chopped a few smaller trees down and have put it through its paces. JXE JXO makes some really sturdy blades. And it came sharper than sharp!!One thing's for sure, if a zombie Apocalypse were to break out, it would definitely be one of the handful of weapons on my hip.

Great camping axe.
The media could not be loaded. Aside from the problem of this axe not being assembled when it arrives, and not having the correct tools to assemble it with (watch the video) this is a great camping axe. I opted for the pick at the opposite end, instead of the hammer on their other axe. I have other sharp edged tools from JXO JXE. Their quality is always superb. Everything is well designed and well made with only the best materials. This camping axe is a great example of the high quality of their products. The edges are sharp, the tangs are thick. The handles are solid. The sheaths or scabbards are well made and protect the tool AND you. Five stars.

Sharp and light
It's light weight for easy swinging and both ends are sharp. Very pleased!

Beware of faults
The sheath ended up with two busted clips. As well as the blade holes didn't matches up with the handle holes. All the bolts went well except one. In the end the little bolts were stripped, leaving me with just two holding it on.
