Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is a little bit flimsy and we decided to ignore the instructions and stick two magnets to the banister and bottom stair to give this gate a quick easy open and close set-up for our kids. We used two of the original white plastic brackets and used a little bit of wood to ensure a good fit. Still totally puppy proof. He is yet to explore the great unknown of up the stairs. He is a 12 week old working cocker and although the gate is a little flimsy it looks really very smart in situ and he can't get through it so it is fit for purpose. I dropped one star because one downer for us is that our four year old gently put her weight on the top of the frame as she was closing it and it snapped in the first week of having it, but I think that's more our fault not the products fault. Just handle it with care. We have taped up the broken pole and it is hidden under the fabric so it still looks very smart and hasn't affected its function. Puppy is safe downstairs and that's what counts.

We have a dig and she's constantly coming back into the house when we want her to stay outside on nice sunny days. I bought this so we can keep the back door unlocked but keep the dog outside.Easy to put up taking just a minute or two it fits securely in the door frame if the back door. Quick and easy to put up or remove when required.Nice quality material means it will last too!

Not great quality and not worth money

This is brilliant I can see straight through so is good for my kitchen when my dogs have been in the garden and I don’t want the muddy feet on my carpet I havnt used the fixings I just pop it against the walls and it’s fine

Slightly big for our stairs, but clipping only one side of the gate and 'resting' the other against the bannister works for us with a small dog. Definitely prefer this to a standard stair gate . Feels quality and would buy again.

The gate itself very good quality, just the plastic clips could be a bit stronger(they broke after few weeks of using them)

I brought this to keep our new puppy in his space. He knocked it off it’s mount in 30 seconds! So after 1 say it’s going in the bin and I’ve got a ‘baby gate’ coming instead that will be pressure mounted and hopefully more sturdy.I didn’t want to screw the mounts to the wall, so purchased the additional stick on mounts, but they’re not sturdy enough for an 8 week old puppy!It’s a nice gate and if you’re happy to screw the mounts to the wall I’d imagine it’s actually really good.

Fits doorway ok but not satisfactory for staircase as fittings not suitable for fixing to wall or newal post. Ok for small dogs but I think large dogs would barge through the gate and damage it.
