8 Pack 18650 Rechargeable Battery Powered Flashlight with Two-Slot Charger (Flashlight Set)

I bought this kit primarily for the 18650 batteries, which I intended to use to power a NodeMCU type device (ESP-8266). For this purpose, and for powering the included flashlight, they work perfectly, but please note the following:The Batteries:- These are not actually 4000 mAh batteries as the labels claim. Nor do they have a model number or bar code. For the sake of testing, I depleted two of the batteries and charged them to full capacity using a two-battery separate charger with a known 1.5A input. It took about 2 hours. I suspect therefore that the actual capacity per cell is somewhere between 1,250 and 2,000 mAh but this is a guess.The Flashlight:- This has to be one of the brightest flashlights I have used! I'm very impressed there. If you pull on the head of the flashlight, the lens twists and so can 'zoom' to a smaller focus. Very neat.The charger:- It is a 4.2v '750 mA' (probably 500 mA?) charger, model 858MA. The batteries charge slowly (which is probably a good thing considering certain unknowns). I have not charged them from a fully depleted state with this one yet. But it seems to work fine and doesn't get overly warm.All in all, I'd recommend this kit, but be VERY sure you read which way you put the batteries in (+ / - )to charge and for projects - they both face the same way (in parallel)!

I ordered these, as others have done, to get the batteries for other flashlights I currently have. It's a solid deal just with those. But the flashlight is great - very bright, and it defaults to the steady, bright beam, where a lot of other brands cycle through the choices in an annoying way. The charger is unusual in that it doesn't require a USB charger; it just plugs into a regular wall outlet. Interestingly, it's the first battery charger I've seen that says polarity doesn't matter - you can stick the batteries in either way!? Not a big deal, but kinda fun.

I like the 18650 batteries because they last much longer and can be recharged. The flashlight surprised me because it only took 1 battery but was very bright. Good deal too!.

All of these 18650 4000mah batteries are the best you can get without buying Sony or Samsung which are priced out of the ballpark. The flashlight and charger were just a bonus to me. The flashlight is actually excellent quality and I use it frequently and it's got a variable focus with a three mode high medium low brightness, flicker, and SOS function. The only downside is there's no external plug to charge the battery right in the flashlight.The provided charger is kind of flimsy, but I can't seem to find any that are built really well. They get the job done, just never charge your batteries without keeping an eye on them and checking on them regularly until the light turns green. If they overcharge and blow, you'll be sorry and using a fire extinguisher if not worse!All in all it was an excellent deal for the Price Mart!

I ordered this mostly for the batteries. I've had some of this brand before and they performed well. I don't need another flashlight or charger but they came with and the price was good for the total package, so I have another flashlight... I actually like the flashlight. It's smaller than others that use these batteries so it fits in my pocket easier. I did have 2 batteries that arrived damaged. Overall I would have knocked a tenth of a point off for the bad batteries but the seller was very prompt to send replacements.Overall I'm pleased with the product.

I’m sort of a flashlight semi-fanatic but I really bought this item for the batteries. Haven’t used it enough to be able to say much about the whole rig but right after it arrived I charged the batteries and that night went out in the yard and tried it. It shines nicely at 100’ and zooms in/out; it does what it should. However, the first thing I noticed was how “loose” the zooming head is -too loose. So much so that if I zoom out aiming straight up the head will slowly slide all the way down (zoom in) under its own weight. If not for the batteries and this was the only flashlight I had it would be going back, but not worth the trouble. Also came with a very basic charger that I would be happy to give up for a stay-in-place zoom.

This little flashlight is powerful yet compact enough for your pocket, and this was a good price.

These batteries will hopefully last longer than my original ones. Also came with compact battery charger and powerful flashlight!
