The recipes sound delicious. Can't wait to try them.

The photos in this cookbook are breathtaking. The recipes are very eclectic covering most regions in the world with at least one soup or stew. The recipes are thoughtfully written and instructive. I do find these soups to be pretty specific in terms of ethnicity and flavors and not many of them are quite as approachable as I'd hoped for a weeknight soup or soups/stews with a little more room for creative liberty. I'd like them to spend a little more time on how to build a great soup (start with homemade stock, parm rinds, etc.) from scratch with a little less specificity and then going into the specific soups.

Many chilled soups, clear instructions for a variety of stocks, but left me wanting for more recipes of hearty soups. I expected more recipes for international soups.

Came in great condition and enjoyed the recipes. Split pea is a favorite.

No one can go wrong with recipes from Saveur Magazine.The recipes were true to the cultures where they are beloved staples.I especially appreciated the authenticity and variety of types of recipes.

Lots of ideas

I subscribe to the Saveur Blog and found so many recipes I liked that were in this book I bought the book. I admit it is going to take me a while to try a LOT of the recipes in it but the ones I have made I love. These, (in my opinion), are some really good recipes. Thank you.
