Fun Puzzles
Fantastic font used. Much better than similar books by other authors. Easy to read, fun to play.

Very Nice
I bought this for my daughter-in-law. We both love the Griddlers, but she prefers paper-and-pencil while I prefer my tablet. She loved the book, and I was quite impressed by it as well.

This book is terrific..
I am a recent convert to this type of puzzle which is hard to find locally. This book is terrific...haven't been able to stop working the puzzles since I received it!!

Ripoff, and the cover dragon isn't even in the book....
Never will I buy a book without being able to look inside first again. The quality of these pictures is astoundingly bad. The quantity doesn't make up for this at all. And that cool dragon on the cover- not even IN THE BOOK. I could see justifying this purchase as a bargain isle find, but for $17 i've never felt so scammed in my life (trusting all the glowing reviews and success this company has).Might be fine for a kid who doesn't care about the art, but as an adult who enjoys this type of puzzle...i'd look somewhere else.

I've enjoyed other similar puzzles, but this one just doesn't work as well as others.

Great selection of different size puzzles
I recently discovered this type of puzzle through an app called Puzzle Page. It led me to all sorts of apps dedicated to these puzzles. I decided this week that I wanted to have a book of these puzzles to do at home. There was a huge selection of book to choose from, but having seen that this particular range has lots of subsequent books I decided to give this one a go. I have not been disappointed. The book contains 163 puzzles. There is a guide at the start for anyone new to Picture Cross/Griddlers. The start of the book has a lot of smaller grids which are great if you just want a quick one to do or are new to these and want to practice. The puzzles then start to get bigger up to a max size of a 50x50 grid. From puzzle 137 onwards they go back to small ones again - because they add in triangles at this point! I did see this on their website puzzles, but I couldn’t quite work out how you did those in the game. The instructions in the book look a lot easier to follow so I’m hoping it makes more sense when I get to them. The pages of the book are a reasonable thickness so you don’t have the colouring in from the previous page bleeding through to the new puzzle you are doing.Answers are all in the back of the book, so if you do get stuck you can use that to get a better idea - but they are much smaller versions so not always easy to see exactly where you might have gone wrong. It is useful though to have a quick check once you have finished a puzzle to make sure it looks roughly the same!I brought the first colour book from this series too, I haven’t tried it yet but am looking forward to it. I will definitely be buying more of these books from this series because I’m very happy with them. The only slight niggle would be that perhaps they could have put on the puzzles a difficulty level.... but that’s not the end of the world!

... I can categorically say that this type is the best. It took me a while to work out ...
I have bought many of these puzzles in the past and I can categorically say that this type is the best. It took me a while to work out the hard ones at the end of the booklet, but this is the whole point of doing these puzzles. If they are too easy they are too boring.

Totally adictive
These puzzles have taken over my life! The only downside is that there are too many small, easy puzzles at the beginning of the book, but once you get past those they gradually get harder and much more interesting. Just ordered volume 2

Lasts ages!
This is great! I got through the earlier ones in the book really quickly; two or three in a sitting, and thought the book wouldn’t last me very long. Now I’ve gotten to the bigger and more difficult puzzles, it’s more like two or three sittings per puzzle. Will get the next book to take on hokiday

Clever but beware the print size.
A varied selection of puzzles with much to challenge the mind. Sadly many of them are too difficult for older eyes to see so I'd recommend investing in a good magnifier.
