I don't like change and I don't like buying new phones. I don't like having to learn something new haha. My phone was dying, or so I thought. It started not holding a charge properly. I almost bought a new phone, when someone suggested to me why not just try a new battery? I bought this and now my phone works perfectly again. Easy peasy! I can't guarantee this is what's wrong with your phone, but because of the price, I recommend you try buying a new battery before spending hundreds or maybe even thousands on a brand new phone.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I had never changed a phone battery before. My J3 is three years old, and the battery was running down very fast, especially when I was talking on the phone, which I do a lot. A couple days ago it conked out after a conversation, and it wouldn't charge at all. I knew the moment had come to open up my phone and replace the battery with the one I had ordered in anticipation of this moment. I held my breath and did it, and my phone instantly came to life, charged on arrival at 76 percent. The phone is working better in every respect. The problem I had with my headphones not working is gone. And I can now go more than 24 hours without recharging, despite my heavy use. I am happy.

I have no way to measure the actual mAh but it was only maybe 25% charged so I charged it maybe 9 hours to full charge, phone says 99% one time and 100% the first time. Seems to be holding charge at least as well as the 6year old 2600mAh battery, perhaps those using this did not give it a full charge and discharge 3 times to burn in the full memory of the battery. Phone is not arguing at all over it not being a 'branded' Samsung, we will see how this progresses over a year or two. May try to get another different branded battery to try as well.

I have bought this brand of battery several times over the years. Very happy with it, good price, we get about two years out of each one. You must follow the initial charging instructions for the best results. Our results are as good as the OEM battery.

I have an older Samsung phone which constantly drained all other batteries. I purchased 2 other replacement batteries before trying this one and none of them would hold a charge. Until I bought this one. It not only charges quickly to 100% but it outlasts any batter I have used in the past, including the Samsung battery. I plan to buy another one so I never lose power again. Great product!

Please do not buy this cheap A$$ battery. It does not last long at all. I did as the manufacture recommended when you first recieve said battery, draining & all!! Also, these batteries probably sit on a shelf until they are bought & delivered to the customer. Who knows in the right conditions for battery storage!! Lies on standby time, ect. I have closed unused apps & all trying to increase the battery life. It still sucks. Nothing works. I like to give positive reviews, but I only tell the truth too. I ordered this in Jan & I needed to try to order another from another supplier!! I would give it a -1 if I could. Does not even hold a charge for a 10 minutes now, off the charger!! It is an absolutely horrible, rip off product! I want my DAM$ money BACK!! Have a safe, healthy, prosperous & great day!!

Reasonable price, after receiving the battery, there is already 65% of the power, I don’t know if this has a psychological effect, my j3 phone has been used for two years, I feel smoother when using my phone after replacing the battery. When playing games, the phone's temperature is also normal, I've been used this battery for a couple of two weeks, no issue so far.
