Absolute rubbish, save your money!
Save your money and pay the extra £7 for the real thing! I bought this by mistake, thinking I was buying the Genuine Google Chrome, but I decided to try it out anyway, but it is rubbish! The instructions are in such a small font size they are almost unreadable and when you magnify and read them, the instructions are almost unintelligible. And when you do manage to magnify and follow the instructions, it doesn’t work! The dongle doesn't boot up, and The App has a worse problem because you can't zoom in to read anything at all and the link to YouTube doesn't work. I eventually managed to pair up the device on wifi and get some instructions on my TV but the connection on the app just keeps saying 'please wait' and never connects! I’ve now sent it back and ordered the real thing!

Doesn't work despite 4* and 5* reviews
As soon as I opened the box alarm bells started ringing. There is an offer of £10 back if you give a 5* review and £5 back for a 4*. The instructions are in such a small font size they are almost unreadable and the dongle doesn't boot up when you magnify and follow the instructions. The App has a worse problem because you can't zoom in to read anything at all and the link to YouTube doesn't work. Having used my IT intuition, I managed to pair up the device on wifi and get some instructions on my TV but the connection on the app just keeps saying 'please wait' and never connects. Questionable and disingenuous at best...

Does not work with Netflix.
Followed all installation steps as instructed, it allows for mirror casting a user's device but doesn't cast Netflix successfully. Only the audio works but no video. If you intend to use this for Netflix then it's not worth a buy just get an original Chromecast for the few extra £££; however it is useful for anything else. Gave 3 stars for promptness of delivery and refund process as I was able to receive my money back the same day I posted it back to amazon.

Very useful device to enable freeview to be used on Sat Nav TV.
Used to play Britbox on my Sat Nav smart TV. Works very well. Written instructions very small and not easy to understand. However picture quality is good providing wiFi signal is good.

Waste of money
Its frame rate is rubbish. I cant even enjoy video at 1080p let alone 4k. It also needs a 5v power supply with more Amps than my TV's onboard USB has.I have now purchased an official Google chrome cast and that instantly worked better. Powered from the TV's USB so no extra power source needed. I have since paid for an Indy App that allows me to stream browser video to my TV using google chrome cast.

Poor quality
HiI would like infor you that one day ago I received the item HDMI DONGLE G7s with MiraScreen rev. 2.00. I connected and has worked well. But today I started again and there is no any comunication between device and TV and between device and smartphone. It is just the blue light on and nothing more are working. Could you tell me what is going on with this device?Thank you.
