Just what I needed to solve an outdoor mouse problem and not put my dogs or birds at risk. Plus the cover put a welcomed barrier between me and the mouse when emptying the trap!!!

Would not set just kept on snapping

Bought this product as there were mice in the house where I live and we have pets.Guard on the trap is a good idea but holes are too small.I lifted the front end of the guard up then caught a few dead, did the job.

Pro: It is pet friendly.Con: the spring design does not work well. It is frequently difficult to get it to set, and I discovered that it did not kill a mouse outright, which for me is a deal breaker. Killing a mouse is one thing, but I cannot condone a mouse trap that causes undue suffering. It should dispatch them instantly in a humane way.

Easy to set and trigger plate very sensitive

The design of the trap is poor, the mice can eat the bait without setting off the trap, and I’ve had to return 2 units for failing to stay open. Spend a couple of extra pounds and buy the the one housed inside a lockable box by the same brand as that one is brilliant

Instead of killing the mouse outright, it trapped the mouse in with the bait. I had to dispatch the mouse (Humanely) myself. It is poorly designed. Mice can get far enough into the trap before triggering it, that they evade the jaws, and just get stuck.

This is a good idea, but the traps will not stay set. I am returning mine for a refund. I should have read the reviews, because it seems a lot of other people are having the same problem.
