Quite heavy and sturdy, very comfortable mouthpiece, beautiful sound, and very responsive. The holes are nicely spaced from each other so there is no leak from one hole to the other. Also I love the Orchestra version of this harmonica because instead of dropping the bottom 4 holes of a 16-hole harmonica to get to 12 holes, they instead have dropped the bottom 2 and the top 2 from the 16 holes and that gives you a very nice and dynamic 12 hole range in the middle.Simply love this harp!

Pure, brilliant tones across the scale. Solid, well made and a pleasure to play. Had no issues of sticking reeds after three hours of practice.

Don't waste your money on ten different substitutes. Take the plunge, buy the Saxony and be happy - it's a no compromise, professional quality instrument.

Received Chromatic Saxony Orchestra C on 6-16-22. took out of case and screw holding one side of cover plate were not secure, tested each reed to ensure all were working both blow and draw and I found that when I draw reed 3 and 4 did not play any note at all, and when I blow reed 4 is very hard. For the money there should not be any issues with any reed blowing or drawing.

This is a great sounding harp. The slider needed to be de-burred and the mouthpiece screws replaced - original ones were too short. When I contacted Seydel, they said "something must have happened after it left the factory".

Excellent. Plays very well. Just love it.
