An excellent tool for drilling porcelain
The drill was bought specially to drill holes in 20mm thick porcelain tiles which it did quite easily. It has no centre drill to help line with alignment, so I made a jig i.e. a piece of 5mm thick wood with a 50mm hole in it and clamped it in the position of the hole. I was told it would only last for the 5 holes I drilled but it is still in excellent condition.

Great value
I needed to cut just 2 holes in some tiles and was reluctant to pay over £40 for a branded holesaw, when I wouldn't use it a lot. I decided to try a cheap one, as I could always return it, if it didn't manage just 2 holes. This holesaw managed to cut a plywood template (highly recommended) and the required 2 holes through, admittedly thin, tiles. I would guess that it still has life in it too.Definitely recommended, if you don't need much use out of it!

Gets through lots of hard materials
Used to bore a hole through 12mm thick ceramic tile, then the tile cement behind that, then the breeze-block wall behind that. No sign of wear on the cutting edges even after ploughing through all that. The hole size was accurate, it had a nice smooth bore, and a piece of 40mm diameter plastic tubing slid into the hole perfectly.Since then used it on other types of tiles. It's holding up well. Keeping it cool is the trick. Drill for a minute or two then dunk it a cup of water to cool. Repeat until it gets through.

The product was poor quality
While the shaft and drum where aligned, the diamond blocks are longer on one side making it almost impossible to hold in a drill and drill through tiles, the hole saw would make the drill wobble from side to side and even though i had a four ball bearing suction guide to stop the diamond hole saw from running off centre, the run out was so bad it forced the suction clamp to move. This ruined a tiled bath panel that i needed to drill four 70mm holes into for ventilation, about a days work was wasted plus the materials, £400.00.If only the diamond blocks has been correctly welded on then this would have been a great product as the diamond blocks appear to be good quality, as is the drum they are welded to.

Disintegrating
Tried 30mm in the past and it worked well. However, two 40mm disintegrated after 9-10mm depth

Great drill bit worked for us
The media could not be loaded. Arrived quickly, in handy little plastic tub. At first hubby was concerned because there was no centre drill bit, and he was worried about the kick back and also the accuracy aspect. We stuck with it, because of the 2 year warrantee. Taking the attitude that if it was no good, we could send it back. Wanted to drill holes through concrete, slabs. IT WORKS. I have posted a video and some pictures, and can confirm, this product does exactly as claimed. I now have one very happy hubby, and 3 holes, drilled. I would like to add, that depending on the material, your drilling, you may want to consider the motor power of the drill. Also for added pressure and stability, a drill with a handle is a good option. We used to drill through 50mm thick paving slab.

Worked great
I only needed it for one use - to cut into a 1" thick quartz countertop. Worked great. Thank you.
