Yes it is weight. Yes it is soft. I gave this to my sister for her new baby. And when we opened it, I was not impressed. It looked cheaply made and poorly printed on. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CUTE PICS OF YOUR BABY EVERY MONTH, THIS IS A PASS.

I absolutely love this baby milestone blanket. It’s so soft and beautiful. I love the floral pattern and your little head bow and the floral garland are just darling! This is a gift for my niece who is having a little girl and it was just perfect because she is doing a floral / flower theme in the nursery. She was so excited when I gave it to her. I would definitely recommend this product. It’s a very nice gift .
