These are so cool!
So first I must say that the quality of this paper is AMAZING! It is 140 lbs cold pressed! That is very thick and durable! And when I went to make my first card I used a lot of water. It didn't warp at all! I think the pounds of paper is the weight per 100 sheets of paper. So imagine 100 sheets of this paper weighing 140 pounds. Yeah, that is some very heavy duty paper. These are small enough to fit in those protective card cases. Like for pokemon cards, or baseball cards. So you can protect them in those. I should really get my friends into making these so we can trade! haha!Seriously, if you love watercolor or are learning, and need little projects along the way to keep you from being bored, order a pack or two of these. It is seriously fun! I also recommend you use a watercolor paint that is good quality. Cheaper brands have less pigment, and you want more pigment. I like Koi watercolors. But it's your preference after all. These things rock! ♥PS: Why is this in the toy category? Weird.

Artist Trading Cards
I liked the size of these pieces before I purchased them, but when I got them in the mail I loved them! They're the perfect size (2.5" x 3.5") for a quick sketch to give a good representation of your style. The weight is nice and sturdy and sucks up the water perfectly. I was also informed of the story of their creation and use on the back of the package, which was an added benefit.

great
great paper and great price. might be easier to cut your own paper down, but it was great taking it around with me in my travel watercolor kit

Great paper
Really addictive in a good way! The texture and tooth of this is really nice so I can use pencils with watercolor brushes

Strathmore artist trading cards
I love exploring different papers!! Every paper has its own personality and strengths. I love Strathmore watercolor greeting cards and post cards, so I was excited to try these! As a sufferer of arthritis in my hands, I truly appreciate when I can find precut papers at a reasonable price (that, and craft blades and cutter blades do not last past a few cuts these days, to the point I am happy to have the company do it for me)! These trading cards tolerated artist tape without tearing, and my paints looked beautiful when dried. The reasonable price point removed a ton of personal pressure, lol! Unfortunately, the cards did buckle when I used wet on wet techniques, even when taped down. I'm not mad, as these are for fun and play. I perhaps might not use these for selling, due to the buckling. Then again, maybe *that's* one way you can know a real, actual human being painted it! :-)Dorland's wax medium helps preserve and stengthen my cards. Ultimately, I still prefer Legion Stonehenge Heavy pre-cut (sample; 2.5" x 3.75") blocks for my cards. Those do not like to be taped down and will tear, but I can use tiny office clips to hold them down just fine. They will dry flat and stay flat. But that's a personal preference as I am more heavy-handed with water. I am glad I tried these, and will probably continue to play and experiment with them, but thought my experience could help someone else. My true rating is a 4.5. Thank you Strathmore for a thoughtful and decent quality item! Happy creating, Reader!

Great watercolor cards!
These are great little cards for quick watercolors. Paper can stand a few good layers of watercolor without shredding or buckling. Taping down the corners while painting was all I had to do to keep the card straight. Also can accept multiple media’s- too.

Just right
Sometimes you're just in the mood to create an ATC or an ACEO. That's when these cards are perfect. No fiddling around with measuring and cutting up a larger sheet, these are ready to go straight out of the package. And the 140 lb paper will stand up even if you go mixed media or collage. They're really portable too. I keep a few of these, a mini paint set and a couple of water brushes in a small case, ready to paint at a moments notice.I also like these for experimenting with new media and techniques. You can play with different water-based media, like Inktense for example, and get the feel for how they react, without using a larger sheet, and if it turns out great... well, then you've just made an ATC while you were at it. I love products that multi-task.
