Otto’s Naturals - Cassava Flour, All Purpose Flour as Wheat Replacement, Used as Bread Flour, Pizza Dough Flour, & Cake Flour Substitute, Nut, Grain, and Gluten Free Flour, 16 Oz

I started making my own tortillas -much more economical and super easy to make. In a mixing bowl I put 1/2 cup of Otto's cassava flour, lots of garlic and onion powder and some cayenne pepper, mix dry and then start incorporating in some water... 1/4 cup and then keep mixing and then add a little more (less than another 1/4 cup) until you reach the right consistency (doughy and not too wet or dry... better a little dry than too wet). I also add in about a tbsp or so of olive oil while kneading the dough to bring it from slightly dry to perfect dough. Divide into balls and then roll out between wax or parchment (or use a press if you have one). I don't bother with any leavening agents but you could add those if you want softer and fluffier tortillas. I just heat on low to medium in a non-stick with a bit of oil in the pan. It takes just a few minutes to make the dough... longer to roll out the tortillas (I make many tiny ones and then freeze) and not long to cook. They freeze well. You can use this for cakes and all sorts of baking as well as a thickening ingredient for soups and stews. It's a great brand and easy to work with flour. Taste is amazing! Very soft, flavorful, and fresh.

Prior to trying this product, in the past, I've only used Cassava Flour from the brand, Bob's Red Mill (which is EXCELLENT).This brand, Otto, is EQUALLY AS EXCELLENT. A bit cheaper than other brand when purchasing the larger bags.Easy to use (for making 'Gluten-Free ricecakes').The consistency and texture of the flour was just as sticky as the other brand that I used in the past.Tastes wonderful!It's definitely gluten free bc I am severely gluten-sensitive & had no issues w/ this product.

I love this product but it has a hole in it and is all over the box. Grateful Amazon customer service was able to help me resolve the issue.

As a chef, this is the best cassava flour on the market! Don't ever change Otto's, please!

I have found this to be a one to one substitution for regular flour. Baked items have an excellent fine texture. I love cassava flour, but you can definitely find it cheaper.

Omg I love this brand when baking pancakes. Guilt free, I can eat as much as I want and not feel bloated or horrible. Omg I love the flavor, highly recommend.
