Nice sound for beginner, but has blems on front surface
Arrived before Christmas, that was great. Gift for 16 year old daughter, who plays clarinet and self taught on Ukulele. She was able to tune fairly well after installing battery into tuner. The pick guard has over half the surface bubbled. Looks like when the company attempted to put the overcoat on it, none of the air bubbles were smoothed out of it. They cannot be smoothed out by me, in residence. So, that mars the finish of the front surface. It does not detract from the performance, to be fair, just an oversight in professionalism. She has attempted to play 3 times since Christmas, but we will probably seek out lessons for her, to maximize her playing abilities. The hard case looked good, no damage, and the listed components were included. We ordered a stand for it, and a capo, so when she is playing, the stand holds the guitar well. We store it in the hard case.If I can get a photo or two, and upload them in the future, I will add to this review.Bottom line: The guitar sounds and plays well, the metal strings are a plus and with the exception of the marred finish around the pick guard, the unit seems like a good bargain for the beginner.

Can't go wrong with fender
Fender has a name and they lived up to it. My 14 year old daughter is a beginner and loves her guitar. Sound is amazing. Can't get a better guitar for the money. Don't pick the beginner version... this guy is definitely the better pick!

Not a hard case!
This did not come with a hard case. It came with a padded cloth case. The neck is a little skinny, probably so it's easier for beginners, and I feel like the the neck is a little short as well. It sounds nice, pretty good quality for the price.

Been few months and this is garbage now
For those who wants to get acoustic guitar:Go get no-named.This is like a trick to get one with FENDER. Been only few months but 11. 12. and 13. frets gone already. Story started with 12. fret but today this number increased and three frets doesn’t work.Never dropped or damaged! Not even scratch on it! But I’m serious those frets sounds on all strings like air-frier sound.I might fix all the frets and thresholds but why? I’ve bought a FENDER. If I choose something with good brand, that means it supposed to be work well for at least more than few months.I’m playing guitar since 1996 and I’ve played maybe all the common brands. If you don’t looking for an electronic guitar, don’t even think about to buy FENDER acoustic and classic models!Whoever needs to get proof, they can call me and I can show the problem on frets.

Fender put a red sticker on the front of guitar for free lessons but sticker wink come off
Why put a red sticker on front face of guitar that won’t peel off easily
