It’s a good vacuum
Some other reviews have mentioned the suction is not very powerful but I must disagree. I find it almost too powerful as it lifts up the corners of my rugs… but that’s ok. Someone else mentioned the difficulty is using the on/off switch. Here I must agree. It’s very hard to push the slider button on (unlike my older models) but it’s certainly not a deal breaker. Overall I think it’s a good little vac.

Power in a compact small unit
This is power in a small package. Lightweight, durable and quiet. I love this vacuum. Picks up pet hair and really cleans so well I seldom use my large vacuum anymore - this powerhouse is good for any part of the home or car - I wouldn't be without it when I go house sitting and pet sitting as well. Absolutely love it -

Still Going Strong Since 2021 – Reliable Daily Vacuum with a Few Minor Gripes.
I’ve been using the Shark CH951 UltraCyclone Pet Pro Plus Cordless Handheld Vacuum since 2021, and honestly, it’s still going strong. That’s saying a lot considering how often I use it – pretty much every day. Whether it’s crumbs on the kitchen floor, pet hair on the couch, or a quick sweep in the car, this little vacuum has held up surprisingly well over the years. The design is lightweight and easy to maneuver, which makes it a total breeze to use for quick cleanups. I don’t have to wrestle with cords or drag out the full-sized vacuum – just grab and go. The XL dust cup is definitely a bonus; I can go days before needing to empty it, even with regular use.Battery life is decent – it’s nothing groundbreaking, but it gets the job done. I’d say the runtime is about average for a cordless handheld vacuum. I usually get through my daily cleaning routine on a single charge, and charging it back up is pretty quick and easy.As for the suction, it’s not bad at all. It’s more than enough for surface debris, hard floors, furniture, and even car floor mats. Unfortunately the suction is not strong enough for car upholstery. It handles pet hair surprisingly well, especially with the motorized brush attachment, which I use constantly. That said, I do wish it had a bit more power for carpeted areas. It works, but you’ll likely have to go over spots a few times to get everything up, especially if it’s something ground-in, and even then it won't fully clean the surface. That’s probably my only real complaint. One thing I really appreciate is that the filters are inexpensive and easy to replace. I’ve changed them a few times over the years, and it hasn’t been a hassle or a big cost. Super easy to swap them out, and you’re good to go.It’s also held up really well physically – no cracks, no fading, and the battery hasn’t noticeably declined in performance, even after a few years of regular use. Another gripe would be the see-through portion of the vacuum is impossible to clean. That kind of longevity isn’t something I take for granted with cordless appliances. One thing I've noticed is there will be a ton of leftover debris visible through the clear plastic, and you are unable to clean that portion out.All in all, this vacuum has been a reliable part of my daily routine. It's great for quick cleanups, especially if you’ve got pets. If you’re looking for a solid handheld vacuum that will last, I’d definitely recommend this one or any of the Shark cordless vacuums. Just don’t expect it to deep clean your carpets like a full-size vacuum – it’s more for maintenance than a full scrub-down.Bottom line: After 3+ years of daily use, this thing still works great. It’s reliable, easy to maintain, and handles most everyday messes without any drama. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because I wish the suction was a little stronger on carpets, but overall, it’s a solid buy.

Ol' reliable
2nd time purchasing this handheld vacuum, because, well, the others we attempted to try in between just didn't ever compare. And the 1st one only died, because of a dumb mistake with cleaning it in water...whoops.The suction is great, the battery lasts long enough to clean a few big areas or messes before having to charge it again and I love the plug in attachment for hairier situations!

Bummer. Should Have Returned It.
I originally gave this 5 starts, but after less than 90 days I have to change to 1 star. I'm a huge shark girl. I have owned 2 Navigators over the last 17 years, I have the steam cleaner, and several other products. I only owned 1 handheld vac prior to this one and we loved it it was a Bissel Pet one that lasted 8 years and used and abused regularly. It finally lost suction so I tried this model. I don't like it at all. I'm better off lugging my Navigator lift-away out.!! This hand held has subpar suctions. It tends to blow or spit out what you try to pick up. The dust cup is terrible. I have a hard time opening it. It doesn't release very well and it's a struggle. To make matters worse once you get it open you have to reach in and pull out the hair and particles that are behind the 2 yellow filters and stuck on them. Then you have to roll it over to get what fell into the cup lid. There is now dust and dirt everywhere and all over the trash bin and my hands. The more I use this the more I am disappointed. It does not pick up fine dust, in fact it tends to blow it out all over the side of the vacuum. It really doesn't suck very well. You need to angle it just right for it to pick up. The crevasse tool is not effective. It does not pick up anything. I can't tell if the suction is that poor or if the the plastic is too thick and the tool is too narrow. This model doesn't even pick up a plastic bag. It is very long and awkward to use. I've had no charging issues, but it's done after 10 minutes of usage. This model is also very loud. When I use it on my couch it doesn't even suck up the upholstery let alone dust. We recently we through construction and my furniture had a thick coat of dry wall dust on it. this vac only drew lines in the dust from the side of the plastic. I wish I didn't buy this product. I am so disappointed with this purchase.
