ZodiacR0445800 Lid with Locking Ring and Seal Replacement Kit for Select Zodiac Jandy Pool and Spa Pumps

Replaced the old cap on my Jandy pool pump return because the seal was worn out. The Jandy cover I purchased from Amazon fit perfectly and it was cheaper than buying it at my local pool supply company. These are genuine Jandy products.

My pool cleaning company wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars to replace this pump lid. Just found it on Amazon and dis it myself for a fraction of the cost.

This lid fit my pump perfectly. I had a leak and didn’t know if it was the pump housing or the lid. Knowing the lid is significantly cheaper and easier to replace, I started there. I’m glad I did.

Replaced my Zodiac lid, A0577900 model with this. Perfect fit. I didn't realize that the lid seal was allowing air to seep into basket filter at the pool pump. Air ingress would allow the water to suck into pump and run dry. This fixed my issue, creating solid seal so air does not ingress once the pumps stops. Allows for good restart of pump drawing water from suction line vs. air from outside.

I purchased this Zodiac lid for my Zodiac Stealth pool filter pump. After hours of trying to find the reason why my pump kept loosing its prime, I finally discovered the original lid had a sizable crack across one side where the black locking ring was making it impossible to see. I tried grease and a new o-ring before finally discovering this problem. My only complaint is that you cannot buy the clear center part of this lid by itself. Instead, you have to purchase the entire lid which is ridiculously priced at around $50. More when purchased from the local pool supply. I have come to learn that anything related to swimming pools is going to cost you double what it actually should. This lid was a perfect fit and replacement for the original so I like it, but because I have to pay for the monopoly, I am never going to love it.

Purchases item for my Pool as my pool was sucking in water. Fix the problem perfectly no complaints at all. Also save on a service call as I was able to fix it myself.
