Second Purchase, because good
This is the second of these I’ve bought. The first one’s case cracked releasing it from the key ring after AT LEAST FIVE YEARS living in my pocket with the keys. I’ve now repaired that using gel superglue, but don’t trust that to be permanent. So bought a new one. However, not all was rosy with the first, after a couple of years it became intermittent, this was traced to a loose battery wire which required the use of a very tiny, less than 1mm, soldering iron bit. But generally pleased. They’ve changed the software slightly for the new version, I think they’ve removed the “emergency light” function where you could put the thing on charge whilst “on” and the light would go out and the battery charge, but if the power failed it would light up, always useful, just in case you don’t have known good emergency lighting in a hotel or similar. This is the only reason I reduced to four stars.

Low durability
I've had 2 or 3 of these and concluded that they aren't very durable. They've lasted about a year. So I won't be buying any more. I have instead bought one of their metal cased alternatives and am pleased with that one. I guess you get what you pay for!

Nice, cheap, wears well, horrid colour
Not yellow as pictured, but the orange of Starburst sweets. But my last one has been on my keychain for perhaps 10 years without any issues

Very usable design for everyday carry, but not as robust as I'd like
Rewriting my review after buying a third.Yes, this is my third. They don't seem to last more than a year in my pocket, but I keep buying them anyway, because other keychain torches just don't compare.I'm not talking about checklist features. There is no magnetic base or super-powerful Cree LED with aluminium heatsink on this one. But that's not the point. I had one with those features, and I never really felt I was benefiting from them. No, here's the point. Every other keychain torch I've tried makes me pause and think, "Where's the button on this thing? Double click to switch on ... no ... that was too slow. Click faster this time..." and by the time I'm getting the light I want, I might as well have used the light on my phone or fumbled the key into the lock by touch alone. But with this torch in my pocket, I just have to think, "I need more light", and there is light. My hands know what to do. That is what good User Design feels like.I carry things around in my pocket for convenience, so ease of use gets it solid four stars. It would be five if I didn't need to buy a new one every damn year.

Bright and calable
Bright and capable. Nice little key ring torch.Works well when walking at night, throwing out enough light to see your way on unlit paths.

Great
Really good little pocket torch for my keys. Has a good little lock off function too, so I don't accidently put the light on. Negatives are, feels a little bit light duty, but time will tell.

Junk. Failed after 2 days with flickering LED
The media could not be loaded. The LED failed and started flickering after 2 days. This is actually the 2nd No record Tube V2 I have bought from Amazon recently. I didn't even bother complaining aboutvtye other one. I just wrote it off but two in a row just sucks. I think the QC on these has gone really downhill as I had one from a few years ago and it is still going. Would like a refund.

Amazing
This little thing packs a nice little punch for its size and the fact it is rechargeable. I think this is something everyone should have on their keys because on the 55 lumens it is plenty bright to search for something in the dark should you need to.
