What can I say, this did the job. Just be careful with using the right screwdriver for each type of screws. And be firm otherwise they are easy to mess up.

Got my package today tried to unscrew the screws but they don't even fit for the joy cons now I got to buy new screws i wouldn't recommend this to anyone buy different ones.

Great set. Tools are great. Tweezers and pry bar helped me speed through all 4 lock replacements. Now works on the Nintendo switch and Nintendo grip. I have an aftermarket grip that has garbage plastic rails and still doesn't hold the controllers but they work as expected.

comes nicely packed , screwdrivers seemed good quality but the Y one for the outside screws did not work for me it does not fit good was able to unscrew 2 and by the 3rd screw it just would not fit right and began to strip screw , thats why i gave it 3 stars

Took 2 minutes to fix and now the joy cons stay locked in. When I buy new joy cons in the future, the first thing I’ll do is upgrade these locks to metal.

Used the on my 8 year old's Switch. They fit well and work great. Only took a few minutes to install.

i was a little worried about this at first cause some of the reviews said the tools didn't work great and ive never taken apart anything like this, but it went perfectly! the tools work fine for what you need them for, just be slow and careful not to strip the screw heads. the installation went well even with my shaky hands and big fingers, so anyone can do it as long as you follow along a guide and are careful not to lose parts. my joycons dont slip off anymore and they feel way more secure so i definitely recommend! it even came with 4 latches so i can help my friends install them if they ever run into this issue!

The kit contains all the products you need to replace the lock buckle of your joycons and are of satisfactory quality for the job, in my opinion. The price as well is reasonable and more affordable than investing in a whole new set of joycons, that would eventually end up in the same state anyway. There are some instructions on the box, but I strongly recommend to follow some video tutorial online, as they can give you more in depth information and a visual guideline, especially if you've never replaced parts of a console. The whole process didn't take too long and I didn't need any other tools apart from the ones in the kit. Now my joycons feel like brand new and are not falling off or disconnecting constantly, which was very annoying while trying to play in handheld mode. The kit comes with 2 pairs of lock buckles so you can keep one as a spare part. Keep in mind that proceeding with the replacement voids your warranty and is strongly advised to managed your switch carefully afterwards, since a fall could compromise the system functionality.

Habe diese metall Sicherungen.für meinen Neffen seine Switch gekauft und eingebaut. So halten die Joy Cons wieder Perfekt. Davor sind diese bei leichtem druck aus der Switch heraus gesprungen. Nach aus bauen der alten plastik Sicherungen und einbau dieser aus Metall ist alles wieder wie am ersten Tag. Mein Neffe iat happy und das iat wichtig.
