I got this because I wanted a wide mouth vacuum insulated bottle to make it easier to put ice into and to get something large enough that I wasn't constantly refilling it without going extra large (32 oz) since those are a bit too big to carry in a side pocket of a computer backpack. This 26 oz size was perfect and the wide mouth makes putting ice in very easy.A side benefit of the wide mouth and the way the Yeti is constructed is it makes the lip of the mouth of the bottle very nice to drink from. It's very similar to drinking from a large pint glass. The edge is smooth and not thin or sharp. They designed it well.I only got the standard top, but it's nice that there are several other tops to choose from if I decide later that I want a straw, a cup or a chug top. And since it's Yeti, it's easy to find those tops from Amazon or REI or other resellers.Having this has really helped me curb my soda consumption. Having ice cold water at any time at my desk helps me to have a healthier tech lifestyle. The ice lasts all day, even with a refill from our RO water machine (slightly cooled water - not room temperature)

I've been using this water bottle for 4 years and it has held up. Only problem is that I needed to purchase a new top that made it easier to drink from. Drinking without the attachment led to me spilling water and occasionally hitting my teeth against the metal

Great quality product, but that shouldn't be a surprise. Yeti doesn't make bad stuff. Needed a new thermos for coffee, and this holds a lot and keeps it hot lot enough to have an afternoon cup from a 9am fill. I will say it doesn't pour well, that would be it's downside. Since it's wide mouth it doesn't lend itself to a dripless pour, so it drips every single time I fill my mug. And the lid is rather big, so it has a lot of drippy condensation to manage when you remove, as well. So basically it works great, just be prepared so you don't drip coffee and coffee-water all over the papers on your desk at work.

i bought this over the summer as i was spending the summer on the coast. Therefore, i was spending alot of time on the beach, where i enjoyed having cold water. This could stay in the hot sand with the sun beating down on it all day and by the end of the day it is still cold. I also will fill this with coffee at the start of my 8 hour shift and by the end, whatever is left is still hot.I would easily pay much more for this product. the versatality of the lid is also awesome. I bought 2 other lids for this for different uses, and i love both of them
