Long lasting and very strong!

It looks like Amazon fixed the issue about shipping the thicker discs earlier. I was actually disappointed that these are actually 0.035" thick, because the thinner they are, the more fragile and prone they are to wearing out or fracturing. Can't say I am 100% disappointed, tho ;-}I had never seen cutoff discs thicker than 1/16" or 0.065"anyway, so I figured what's the big deal?Anyway, I received 25 discs - made in Poland - and they were vacuumed sealed in foil in a 3M box! What is there to not like?

These are quality wheels and I appreciated that they were packed in a well sealed envelope preserving their freshness.

I use these cut off wheels in my hobby shop working with various metals for old cars. I was pleasd to have only used 2 to cut a car in half! they last better than what I have been using.

These last for a lot of cuts.

After purchasing some other cut off wheels that were supposed to be .040 thick and were actually .062 I ordered these claiming to be .035. These are incorrect also . They are .046. How do they measure these? I'm trying to cut the thinnest line possible so I bought these. Not too far off but not as stated.

Compared to the more expensive 3M cut off wheels these don't last long at all. But they are much cheaper so you get what you pay for.

You can buy other brands and there will definitely be cheaper ones. Here's the thing though... These wheels last wayyy longer than the cheapys so in the long run your spending less money.

The discs I received measure more like .058” not .045, so are a bit thicker than they say. That being said, while they might cut a bit slower (remove more material), they will likely last longer than a thinner disk. So far, they work as they should.

Size on the wheel and in the ad shows. 045 but it is almost.. 07 have not tried them yet but am sure they will create a lot more heat then if they were the correct size

This item is listed as 0.45" (3/64"). It is not, it is significantly thicker. I expect it is in fact 1/4" but I did not put calipers on it, i just compared it to a disc which is actually 3/64". The item says 0.045" on the actual disc, but again it is not a correct measurement.I did not actually try the disc for cutting as I do not like thicker discs due to their inherent slower speed from cutting more material.

Almost as good as Walter. Just what you'd expect from 3m. A great product. Will buy again
