I used the first one to convert an old first gen Tyco Turbo Hopper with fried electronics and so far it works fine. Runs at full 9.6v.I used another to do the same to an old Nikko Turbo Panther running at 8.4v, and it also works fine. I covered this one first and limited it to 8.4v because that is the claimed maximum input voltage.If they break I'll update my review, otherwise they get 5 stars.

I basically got these because they were the cheapest but they honestly work better than my ESC's that are 4-5 times as much. In case anyone is wondering, w/o brake means that when as soon as you hit reverse on the controller, it goes in reverse. Whereas with brake means that when you hit reverse it puts on the brakes and then you need to let up and hit reverse again to actually go in reverse.

I use these ESC's for my WPL trucks. They work fine and have okay throttle control. I waterproofed mine with silicone coating and it has been holding up for about 4 months now. They don't have any protections like shortage protection,overheat, or low voltage cutoff though, but they are good for stashing in a smaller RC

Used it in a RC boat that i bought that didn't work right with the factory electronics. Added a receiver and used this ESC and it worked great. I put my own conformal coating to keep it somewhat waterproof and never had a problem.

Perfect for my application

The esc worked as advertised it didn’t even get hot running 2s lipo. Worked great for modding a cheap rc car.

I hooked it up to a motor and RC receiver and all I see is a blinking light in the ESC and a brief motor function, then nothing! running on 5VDC regulated input. Rc inputs working fine, but this unit seems dead. Instructions are minimal and
