Office Hippo Mesh Office Chair with arms, Ergonomic Office Chair for Home, Desk Chair for office, High Back, Wheels, Blue

My husband and I are both gamers that also work from home. We both have this chair and it's been so good that we have multiple in the house for our gaming desks and for our offices as well. This chair holds up really well and is super sturdy and comfortable that we can sit in them all day (and often do) without pain or aches like we've experienced from other chairs before. We actually like them so much that when one has gotten worn down (mostly because my husband sits with his foot under him so the seat had a chunk missing from where his slipper rubbed it constantly), we have just replaced with the same chair. The only thing we change is we swap out the wheels for roller blade wheels that slide easier on our floors.Other things that we like about this chair:- metal base that has never cracked or been an issue like we've had on other chairs- mesh back that is amazing on a hot day whilst being really supportive and comfy- foam padded seat that doesn't lose its shape or go flat like many tend to on other chairs- more sturdy and comfortable over a longer period of time than much more expensive chairs we've had- good for me (short enough that my feet dangle at the chair's tallest height lol) and my husband that is taller

Just received this chair after a couple of very helpful emails with Office Hippo as I didn't know exactly which mesh chair would be best for me. They recommended this one as I wanted a chair that would last many years. I'm very happy with it. It is supportive but also very comfortable, both the seat and the back. Office Hippo said the seat uses injected foam which apparently means it is heavy duty (my previous office chair foam went flat within 2 years, and I wanted to avoid that). But I was concerned "heavy duty" meant the seat would be very firm but it's not too firm at all.For reference, I'm 5'8", 75kg. I have the armrests as close together as possible and the seat back as close as possible to the seat, and it fits me fine. It would easily take someone bigger I'm sure, moving the armrests out and perhaps moving the back a little further away.The back of the chair, being mesh, is pleasantly cooling compared to my previous foam back chairs. And the mesh is so comfortable, giving a little more than foam backs I've used but not too much.Overall, the chair is heavy compared to cheaper chairs I've owned previously. This is mainly down to the mechanical chair mechanism below the seat and the spider of casters - both reassuringly strong. Even so, I put it together by myself without any trouble in about 45 minutes without rushing at all. The only tool needed (an allen key) is included in the box. The assembly diagrams are easy to follow. With 2 people to build it, it would be even easier.Office Hippo were really good to email with and I get the impression they would help out if I have any issues with it in the future. Really happy with my purchase and hopeful that it will last a long time.

I've had this chair for three years, I'm tall and it's a great chair for my height and weight.Three years after purchase the customer support is first class, I had a part break due to an error on my part and they have been able to provide a replacement spare part quickly and easily. I highly recommend this chair and this seller.

Most reviews seem to focus on the ergnomics required for mid or lower back pain. My problem is different - significant issues with my neck. Last spring I invested in a [different] ergnomic office chair. However it, like so many, only allowed seat height adjustment up to approx 53cms. Although only 5 ft 10in in height this is too low for me - and prevents me from setting up the chair so that I can get properly above my desk surface and view my computer monitor with my neck in slight extension rather than looking up. Hunting through the adverts and reviews for comparable chairs does not reveal manufacturer dimensions in many cases but credit to this chair whch advertises and has adjustability from 49.5 to 57.5cms. It is also solidly constructed and comfortable. I am very pleased with it - and it will deserve all five stars if it stays this good for the coming year(s).

Service: Product arrived 1 day early. Bonus!Assembly: Instructions basic and clear. Each screw bag has the description written on them, thought that was a great touch. Huge Allen key which is very welcome, but you'll certainly need it for the seat screws! I'd personally say this would be a 2 person job, but I did manage myself. But those seat screws really need some force to get them tight. A few other fiddly bits, but nothing difficult and 2 person would make this a breeze. 30-45 mins.Comfort: Lovely. That back is mesh and perfect, I couldn't use anything else. I normally don't use the arm rests, but these are very spacious with good adjustments. So I have attached them and they are fine. I feel after a few hours of using this, I could easily spend the day sitting with no issues. Excellent.Top tip: When adjusting the tilt function... loosen the tension knob first! It's full on at default, so i could even push it back. After I realised this, it bounces back and forth with ease :)Overall: Excellent. Worth every penny

I bought this chair 2 days ago and unfortunately, the tilt function is not working at all. I tried the tilt adjustment knob under the chair too. It's too stiff and not moving any direction (+ or -)The assembly was as expected and it's a comfortable chair apart from the tilting issue. I advise potential buyers to check the chair weight as it's a heavy one. This can be an issue for home users who need to move the chair between rooms.
