For what they are, these are great. They're the traditional style of sweatband that will keep sweat from running down into your eyes by means of absorbing it. The downside is that they are made of cotton terrycloth. This is great for absorption. The problem is that cotton holds onto moisture like nobodies business. So all of that moisture will be held within the sweatband and, since the sweatband is right up against your head, the moisture will be held right up against your head. Moreover, they are fairly thick. This is good in that it allows them to absorb more sweat. It's bad in that a thick cotton headband will cause you to sweat more.I've found these to be pretty adequate on a 60 minute run on a hot day or similarly lengthed bike ride. While they get uncomfortable, they do keep the sweat out of my eyes.Next time I'm going to try something made out of more modern materials that wick moisture away and allow it to evaporate instead of absorbing it and keeping next to my skin. For lengthy workouts, I think that will be an improvement.

These headbands were a little bit wider than what I was used to wearing but I like these as they do a great job of absorbing sweat and I never have an issue with sweat running in my eyes. I use a visor also on top of he headbands sometimes and it helps that they are wider to keep my visor in place. They area little tighter than what I'm used to but not so tight that they cause discomfort. I was worried that they might bleed and make my forehead discolored but they didn't, even without washing them first. They hold up with regular machine washing. I would say beware if you have a larger size head as they may be too tight. I think my head size is average for a woman.

One of the reasons I bought these is that they are made in the USA. They are quite nice but quite small. I have a small head and I find them tight. Message to the company - consider making them larger.

Nice width, thick and absorbent. Fits child on up. You can also twist it and use as a wrist sweat band. When soaked you can squeeze most of the water out and it still works fairly well. Guess that is why they sell 6 at a time. That way you always have a dry one to put on. Bandanas are great until they get soaked then they are worthless

They do what their supposed to. A little tight but they’ll stretch. There is an annoying seam where it’s sewn together but not a deal breaker.

Once these tighten up they get better, MUCH better. As they get worn in they absorb better and don't roll.. When I first bought them I thought if they had stitching so they wouldn't roll it would help. I was mistaken, once they get worn in they are great.. nice an thick.UPDATE- I've bumped up to 4 stars- I have to say they have continued to get better the more use and washes.UPDATE- I've bumped up to 5 stars- These get better and better, just re-ordered more

I have used headbands for over 30 years and these are the best and they are made in AMERICA!!!!
