Excellent Product. This is the first time that I have used this resin product. I used the resin for a 2.5" deep mold, 5" height, 4" Wide. I followed the directions exactly; voila, perfect results! My project required me to layer the resin within the proper time frame. Mixing the resin exactly as directed in the instructions is crucial, warm bath for the resin, and 3 minutes gently siring properly. You can't be in a hurry. I monitored the resin for bubbles to possibly develop on each layer for about the first 15 minutes for each. There were very few bubbles which were popped accordingly. I walked away too soon in monitoring the last layer and there were a few bubbles when I returned. Bad thing to do. The resin already started to cure. I waited a little longer, drilled into the resin to reach the bubbles to pop and cleaned drill dust thoroughly from the mold. I poured another thin layer of resin to fill bubble holes and coat the face side completely. There are a few tiny bubbles, but they are not any big deal and not that noticeable. I believe the bookends turned out beautiful. The Craft Resin Store has great customer service! They promptly sent me replies to my questions that I needed answered quickly to save me from my bubble problem (my fault). This project turned out beautiful. It's crystal clear. Works as well as any other of these I've used. Takes 24+ hours to fully harden. Can still get small bubbles in finished product even when taking all precautions to prevent them. I wouldn't call it scratch resistant, but any epoxy will scratch if you try hard enough.

This is a good kit, 1 gallon total per package. It is a high gloss, crystal clear epoxy resin that dried overnight (3/8" thick). This resin is self leveling and pours easily. The key to a great pour is in the mixing, add equal parts resin and hardener in a painters measuring cup with flat sides and bottom, the use a flat paint stir stick mixing for about 3 mins min. while scaping the sides and bottom. The instructions will say "do not scape sides while pouring due to non blended mix) you will not have this problem if mixing as stated here. You will see the bubbles start to dissipate as the resiin becomes clearer, keep mixing then pour. Use a flame from a propane torch to remove any air bubbles. (Very few if any air bubbles will form is mixed in the above manner.) There is very little as far as smell goes with this mix and I had about 1 hour working time at 80 deg. Let cure for 72 hr min. Before use.

I’ve used this a lot to give it a fair review. Does good for thin layers over surfaces you can heat to get the bubbles out but this is definitely not bubble free. I’ve found that even low torching causes some fish eyes (and some yellow tone) so a heat gun works best or just a regular lighter, or hold your torch a foot away. It does have a decent working time. I can get 30-40 minutes no problem. I’ve had no problems like flash curing. The gallon sizes come with a pump which is less messy for me however it adds even more bubbles in so I went back to pouring it straight from the container. When it sets (thin applications) it is a nice finish that seems to be fairly scratch resistant. It says 24 hours to cure and I find it soft and flexible after 24 hours. I have found it is truly cured after about 3 days.I cant use it for casting for even smaller cast because of the amount of micro bubbles. I’ve tried alcohol, warming and degassing and still so many microbubbles. I even did a small coaster cast in layers and it was left with just as many bubbles. Left tiny holes all in my surfaces which I have never had a problem with before (using another brand) I had put another thin coat on to cover them up which is time consuming.So if you use it as a clear coat for surfaces you can heat, this product is nice for the price. Just be aware it’s heat sensitive when you are getting bubbles out.That’s about all I can use it for.

After a lot of research, this is the epoxy I started using when I got into this craft and it was a great choice. There are minimal bubbles with this product when stirred slowly and if kept warm. I keep my art studio at about 75 degrees for the purpose of this craft and that seems to be the ideal temp for keeping the bubbles at bay. I will continue using this brand of epoxy.

I love this resin. It’s super easy to work with & I love the pumps that come with it. It does take a little longer for the resin to come out but it’s honestly worth it because then resin doesn’t get all over the gloves

Dries clear. Low door. I’ve tried a few brands. Best so far.

I am a seasoned epoxy-resin user. Made sure everything was level and clean. The product left dimples like it had goosebumps…with two separate coats…not happy!

This product is easy to use. 1:1 ratio you can't go wrong, and even better it cures in 24hrs. The Customer service is great and very quick to respond if you have any issues or queries. Just follow there instructions and your good to go. Wouldn't use any other resin. 5 stars

Easiest resin I have used. Works well and drys quicker than expected. Very good product

First attempt at a river table. The epoxy resin was easy to use and was crystal clear a few bubbles did appear but I feel this was due to my inexperience, therefore I will be using this again.
