What amazed me about these books is that even though they are fiction, the story has its roots in events that we are now reading and hearing about on the news and in scientific journals. Scientists are succeeding in manipulating our genetic makeup. It's happening every day and Jessie Andersen has captured it in her stories, causing us to pause and think...this could really happen! This is the third story in the Young Adult Destiny by Design series. I’ve read the first two books and this one is my favorite. The story line is exciting and full of twists and turns that kept me turning the pages. The characters are realistic and complicated which makes for a better story. The science in the story is well-thought out and believable and that made the story intriguing as well. If you are a dystopian lover, I highly recommend this series. The books are well-written, and the plots are realistic.

I am not generally much of a fan of fantasy or dystopian novels, much preferring history and biography, but I must say that this had me captivated. I had already read the first two of the series, and wanted to see how it turned out. I never would have guessed the twist she threw in towards the end, and wanted to cry out, “No! Don’t do this!” to warn one of the lead characters of the danger ahead. A book that can keep me reading and surprise me at the end is in my book, a good read.

Legacy's Impact is the PERFECT final puzzle piece to the Destiny by Design series. J. Andersen knocked it out of the park again with her final installment. I couldn't put the book down. I had to pick my lower jaw up off the floor after reading the twist involving two of the characters (you won't see it coming). And that ending... wow! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a book to completely consume your life for a day or two... or ten.

The last in this Destiny by Design series did not disappoint. I’m sad to see the characters and story line come to an end. Legacy’s impact had twists and turns, intrigue, along with life changing events you don’t see coming. A definite must read .... but not before you read books one and two. Get all three books today!

Destiny By Design was Ms. Andersen's best bbok by far. I loved the twists and turns in the sequel. It was not the ending I expected but it was good.

I was excited to read book #3 and a bit sad the series was over but certainly not disappointed!
