Such a good buy! Small with Bluetooth and DAB radio (1st we’ve seen) and fantastic sound quality! It was a gift for hubby as we needed a small replacement DAB radio. Did have the previous smallest PURE.It’s used constantly around the house.The only slight disappointment is the aerial sometimes comes away and it’s showerproof but not waterproof - maybe PURE with upgrade in the future.

I've been using my larger PURE Evoke in the bathroom and it have been playing on my mind that its not water/steam proof. Now a finally a PURE radio I can dunk and splash.the outside skin is rubber and when holding has good grip. pushing the buttons are a little finicky if you have large fingers, this will annoy you. the main buttons and tough and the corner saved station buttons are smaller.charging is microUSB and battery so far seems excellent. haven't looked in to the future yet, not sure how easy it would be to change.display is very bright and very clear, I love the scrolling text.now the most annoy bit not shown in any of the advertised material... to use the DAB's and FM radio you have to unwrap the AUX cable which doubles as the antenna and it's actually quite annoying luckily it sit on the window sill most of the time but once in a while I want to carry it, and this cable has to dangle. I have tried to wrap it round the speaker over and around the side but it knows and displays a message to unwrap the cable if you want to use the radio.But again glad I brought it as its great sound and I love PURE radios. but that antenna and annoying.

I received an opened box!!! It was obviously used! I was really disappointed as I already returned one that wasn’t working!!!! So not happy

To activate Alexa you have to press a button on the top of the unit before you speak to it, which, in my opinion makes it next to useless. It also doesn’t link to the rest of the Amazon Alexa network. I’ve sent it back. If I’m wrong on these points, please let me know as it would be good if these issues were fixed.

I had a StreamR which I “lost” (sister nicked it) so I decided to replace it with this. It’s the same high quality and suits me as I take it out. The only thing I haven’t worked out is how to connect the attachment cable. I like that rather than the ‘hover’ touch on the StreamR that used to drive me crazy as it would change the source without having to touch the button, this model is made that you have to press the button to change the source and that makes means you don’t accidentally change the source. This is definitely a good outside DAB. I have Alexa devices so I’m not fussed about the Alexa touch and I have not used that function. I originally got the StreamR because the Aleaxa device is reliant on WiFi and would just stop while listen to a radio station. (Given 5 stars)30/8/2020 I had to return the product as I could not get clear DAB radio stations even when I extended the aerial. This is a perfect product but for this. (Reduced rating to 3 stars)

Brilliant, lovely little speaker, great quality, excellent “shower speaker”.I previously used a cheapo bluetooth speaker for music and radio in the shower. It was ok, but of course had a few limitations- needed to select music or radio on my phone beforehand, and couldn’t add shampoo to my shopping list as it ran out.Another reviewer criticised having to press a button to initiate Alexa. Hello. Battery powered speaker. Not a limitation at all for portable speaker, especially for my particular use case of shower use.Added bonus compared to my previous cheapo bluetooth speaker is the display, showing track info.Only mild criticism is the top mounted buttons are too close to the edges, which cause tipping when stood on a flat surface, as the shape means the bottom surface is smaller diameter than top. Not so much of a problem when dangling from the supplied strap.

I had to return the speaker, sounds awful with music. If you listen to just speech, sounds fine, as soon as you listen to music, any bass, just distorts badly, and this was at low volume, it’s like it was designed for talk radio, but no one tested it with music. Got the jbl tuner speaker as replacement, sounds much better and has much better dab tuner, picked up things the streamr splash could not.

Alles perfekt. Guter Sound, einfache Bedienung. Man kann die kleine Box aufhängen, durch die praktische Lasche auf der Rückseite. Wir sind super zufrieden.

Die Batterie obwohl voll aufgeladen hält nur eine Nacht

Cassa di qualità molto elevata, oltre al classico bluetooth ha anche la radio DAB e collegata ad uno smartphone ha la funziona Alexa !La batteria dura molto, la qualità dei materiale è ottima permettendo anche una certa resistenza alle cadute.Quando faccio gite fuori porta è sempre nel mio zaino.

Una pena porque tanto el diseño como las funciones de radio que tiene ,todo en un diseño muy compacto , lo hacían un producto muy atractivo ,pero el sonido es horrible más allá de lo que sea para escuchar radio hablada pero si quieres escuchar música distorsiona una barbaridad los graves suenan a lata como de un altavoz de poco más de 10 euros .lo tuve que devolver y repito que como idea y diseño me encantaba

Wir haben das Radio für unsere mehrtägigen Bikepacking Radtouren, sowie für Wochenend- und Urlaubstouren mit unserem VW-Bus gekauft. Und natürlich auch für den Balkon. Wir wollten ein Digitalradio, sowie Bluetooth-Verbindung, um unterwegs Musik auch vom Handy streamen zu können. Der Klang ist für ein so kleines Gerät sehr gut und auch für den Innenraum unseres Busses völlig ausreichend. Das eingebaute Aux-Kabel dient gleichzeitig als Antenne und wird beim Verstauen einfach um das Gehäuse herumgewickelt. Bei Pure hält eine Akkuladung immer ewig, so auch hier.Zum Wandern, Radreisen, Paddeln, Campen, Zelten das perfekte Radio und sehr zu empfehlen.Über die beleuchteten Ecken können 4 Sender gespeichert werden.Sieht in der Dämmerung sehr hübsch aus!
