Cascade CPVR Lacrosse Helmet with Matte Black Mask (2015)

This is actually our second Cascade helmet; I have two sons who both play lacrosse.As helmets go, Cascade is pretty much the gold standard for lax, and you aren't going to find much better. I do wish there was better head protection -- you can buy liners, but that's pretty annoying at this price, especially when you know you have to replace them fairly frequently. I also wish alternate colors were more readily available -- our teams generally wear something OTHER than black or white, but they're difficult to find if your child has an enormous melon head as mine do.Protection is excellent, if not perfect in terms of shape and coverage, and strap mouth guards fit perfectly (see my reviews of all our Shock Doctor mouthguards). Sizing is also very versatile, especially for kids who may need larger sizes.Overall, you aren't going to find better (although there's room for improvement)
