Mezzetta Non-Pareil Caper, 16 Ounce

Generally a size that quite large (the bottle that is) but has good flavor.

We have used Mezzetta capers for years, tried a few others and there is no comparison

Have been using these capers for a while and enjoy them very much. Local markets have small jars of capers only. This sized jar lasts for awhile and is just right for our usage.

This item is a replacement for this exact item that I previously ordered due to a local source no longer carrying capers. In app aspects that are comparable to the brand that was available locally.

I'm so glad that Amazon carries these, since King Soopers stopped carrying it.

I just opened the box moments ago and found the first thing I noticed was a small amount of fluid in the box, a few drops or so. I then picked up the well wrapped jar and found that the plastic packaging and bubble wrap were completely saturated. I cut the wrapping open using scissors and fluid ran out. I removed the jar and found that the lid was loose and all of the fluid had leaked out and the jar had a foul smell. So, I went into my Amazon account and attempted to return the item but was told "This item is not eligible for return." So, I'm not sure what to do now. The box wasn't beat up so I cant file a claim with UPS. But I received a worthless product and it's already in the trash. What can I do? Would someone please contact me and let me know how to proceed??
