Q: Could i purchase 48 inch by 73 inch? In this shade?

The smallest size for 48in we currently have is 12ft.

Pretty much If it is dark outside and light inside there will be some visibility. That is more true of things up close. If you stood right in front of the window and the person was on the other side, they might be able to make out a shadow

Q: Does it work on plexiglass?

Yes, just make sure the plexiglass is clean and well moistened

Q: Can it be used on either side if the glass?

That would be your choice. If you choose to use the film on either side I would expect that the elements would probably ruin the finish. Personally I wouldn’t risk it since it’s rather delicate. I’ve thought of the craft aspects of your question- the film in that case would give a super glossy mirrored effect before you take the backing off. Good luck!
