Good brushes for the home use good value for money

At the age of 70 and still a committed DIY'er I can look back on the renovation, extension and decoration of four family houses.....and am still painting..... In all that time I sought to use the best quality bristle brushes I could afford.Now I find that bristle are no longer available without paying very very high prices and reviews are critical of their qualityI have tried some synthetic brushes and they have been abysmal.....really poor....... I felt I was at a dead-endBut recently I bought a Quick Dry Gloss from a well known manufacturer that distinctly said. 'Best used with a synthetic brush'.......... I realised that surely my bristle days were numbered.After some research I came across these Harris brushes. Having used Harris bristle brushes for decades I greatly respect Harris and thought okay here we go. If they put their name to them they can't be badThey are brilliant....really brilliant.They feel, perform, load and lay off just like a real bristle brush. In fact in use you can actually forget you are using a synthetic brush.I have just ordered more and in parallel another set of their Emulsion brushes.....which are equally brilliant.Look no further. For the price these have the quality and feel to give good service both in their Gloss version and their Emulsion version.How long will I go on painting.....and how good will it be..........I don't know..... but I know what brushes I will useThanks Harris

Did what I needed them to do. Good bristle quality, easy to clean, good coverage and smooth finish. They did lose a few bristles along the way though,.but overall decent brushes for the money.

Living in Cornwall not easy to get to a hardware shop quickly. These Harris brushes arrived next day and excellent value for money.Speedy deliver and service.

Overall, these are quite good brushes. There was a little bit of hair loss initially but this quickly settled as I used the brushes.

Applied the paint very smoothly - great quality.
