Decoding Your Life: An Experiential Course in Self-Reintegration

I already own a beloved copy of this incredible book which I purchased directly from the author, Janet Diane Mourglia Swerdlow when it first came out. I ordered this for a friend in hopes of beginning a study group in time. This book and the original concept of working with vertical energy up to my Oversoul and God-Mind have helped me more than anything else to explore who I really am and find the best direction for me in my life. The book is a composite of Janet Swerdlow's early teachings with a central focus in teaching you how to do your own self-exploration and find answers within yourself, to solve your life questions. She gives easy tools and helps the reader learn to ask questions that facilitate self-discovery of who you really are, enabling you to see how your outer life reflects your inner life. You learn to communicate with your own energy through your Oversoul and God-Mind connection and begin to see how everything ties together so that as, the author says, 'As Above, So Below' becomes your understanding. The back cover reads, "You are the most fascinating person that you know"! This book truly takes you on a wonderful journey to finally begin knowing your true Self.

This is one of those rare self-development books that offers a truly unique perspective as well as giving practical exercises that really work. The mental exercises are simple and can be performed anytime of the day, although performing them in a focused, meditative state is desirable.The beauty of this book is its emphasis on using our own innate resources. We need not go outside of our selves to communicate and "to know." This is true empowerment. I have been using the techniques and knowledge in this book for the past several weeks since completing the book and I am surprised by the very dramatic results. You will be surprised as to what you can do and how you can communicate with others without saying a word!I read lots of personal development and spiritually oriented literature, and I have to say this is one book that is well worth the money and the time to read it. Make the this material and the exercises in this book a part of your daily life and you will not be disappointed. One caveat here. If you are not fully willing to leave all sorts of victimization behind, don't waste your money on the book. This book assumes a certain level of spiritual maturity to absorb and practce its principles. Remember, it is about you!

Without a doubt, this was a very disappointing read for me. I suppose that I was simply expecting a bit too much from an author who, according to the website, claims to be one (of two) of the world's foremost metaphysical leaders.I thought that the book was laid out more like a personal journal of someone's spiritual quest, rather than a solid teaching guide for those who are starting out. Perhaps the author is just not competent in properly communicating knowledge to others.In any case, while reading the book, I was left trying to find out about terminology such as "Oversoul", as well as many other terms in the book with which I was not familiar at the time by using the internet, some common sense and proper discernment. A lot of the terminology that I came across while reading the book was not explained in any real informative depth. I went to the author's website, but I was not able to find anything to supplement this poorly written collection of writings. I could have opted to pay the author to become a member though. However, after having read this book, I decided not to pay to have access to the author's advice or any of the author's website articles.If you are starting out on your spiritual awakening, you may do much better to find some notably good teachers online who, not only write free articles to help others in their spiritual journey, but whose information has also been solidly corroborated by many of the various reputable spiritual teachers, world-wide.On the whole, I cannot, with good conscience, recommend this book as a suitable spiritual teaching tool or guide for someone who is jsut starting out on his or her Spiritual path.In retrospect, I would look elsewhere for spiritual / metaphysical information.

I have all of Stewart Swerdlow's books and if you check out there website at expansions.com you see Stewart and Janet together in every video so I decided to purchase her book as well. I was pleasantly surprised that her writing is actually better than Stewart's. Stewart is a better a public speaker and Janet is the better writer so maybe in the future they will divide there efforts that way and make an even better team.As far as the content of the book it is mostly the same stuff as in the other books and on the website just chunked down and explained a little better.

It's a nice book full of hindsight, insight and caring, helpful advice.

Opens your mind and your thinking... This is a great book. I will be ordering more as gifts.

I recommend this book for few reasons first it is very practice book, second is very powerful, and have very deep impact.Amazing
