The company supposedly sold this product. All I know is I bought these from two different sellers and they do not taste like the original ones. I would have given a 0 if I could

I know licorice is a personal preference, but this stuff has an odd chemical flavor that I don't like. Try searching for "Finnish Black Licorice Ripples by Cuckoo Luckoo Confections, 2 lb Bag in a BlackTie Box" on Amazon. I think it is much better and less costly as well.Also, I opened one of the three packages to try and I can't return it. Bummer.

This is the BEST licorice ever! And this is the only place to buy it! The black licorice Scotty dogs are almost impossible to find and I was thrilled when I found it on Amazon. Gimbals has fresh great licorice and once you try these you will be hooked.This licorice does not taste like traditional black licorice, it tastes SO much better. Couldn't be happier with my ongoing purchase from Gimbals😍

Trader Joes used to carry these in a small plastic tub, but they stopped some years ago. I searched the internet until I saw something that looked like TJs and tried a pack. The same ones! I order them for myself, my husband, my grandson, my son, etc. We all love them. I guess it doesn't hurt that we have a lot of Scottish blood in us?

I was recently introduced to this product and thought I would order it through Amazon. I have to say that this licorice has the BEST FLAVOR!! However I was a bit disappointed that it seemed quite hard and almost dry. The candy was well within the expiration date.

You get a big bag of licorice! It has a good black licorice flavor. I have ordered these in the past and I will continue ordering in the future. Gimbal’s is the best!

I ordered these for my dad for Father's Day, but they were a bit hard. I tried going with smaller packages, because the larger amount I bought him last year was so hard that he threw them out. I told him to let me know next time so I could pass on that they were inedible.These are edible, but not as soft as the first time I purchased these for him a few years ago. He's a licorice aficionado, and he said those Scotty Dogs are the best licorice! Too bad they haven't been as fresh as before.

Gimbal's Licorice is one of the best licorices IF it is not stale. This came in a two bag pack and the first bag was 50/50 fresh and stale. Bag two was all as hard as a rock and is supposed to be fairly soft. I threw the 2nd bag away. I am not picky but since I know how good this Gimbal's licorice is when fresh it was very disappointing. I contacted the seller and had no response. I plan to contact Amazon.
