+ DE1020BF PVC Piling Bumper (Black, 6-Feet)

I purchased these to add some padding to my dock pilings so I mounted them vertically on the face of the pilings. I didn't really need 6 foot of padding so I cut one into 2 pieces three feet each. When installing these vertically I have one bit of advice (pun intended), and that is to drill pilot holes for the top one or two screws that you use to attach the padding to the piling. With a pilot hole drilled into the rubber I was able to push the screw into the hole and it stayed put while I got my drill/driver bit inserted into the screw head. Zip zip and the screws went right in. These bumpers appear to be solid and should last a long time. I've docked my boat against these bumpers and they work well, protecting the boat from rubbing on the dock and providing some cushion when docking the boat. I definitely recommend this product.

I wanted this to use for my pontoon boat. I am able to use these as a guide. They’re soft enough, but also firm enough to provide the right support. The length provides adequate protection for wake changes and different boat types.

Performed As expected

Perfect bumpers to protect boat. I was able to install leaning over the edge. Drilling pilot holes first and tying a life line to the bumper helps a lot. Also, I used a power mitre saw to make precise square cuts.

Excellent purchase! These photos are 1 year later and they look just like they did when I installed them. Very durable. Strong enough to hold up to a beating yet flexible enough to give without damaging your boat. Very impressed with these bumpers. I cut mine into equal sections and have placed them all around my dock.

Very good product. I used my compound mitre saw to make the size pieces I needed for my boathouse. It works very well to help land my boat with no damage, even in rough waters. This is a very tough product. I do wish we could get more caps, but not absolutely necessary. I would order again if needed.
