Played this in Sweeden when visiting friends. Came back to the US and bought it to play with family. I love how it's neither a word game nor a numbers game. Rather, it's a game of spacial perception and abstract art. Not surprised that it has won awards. Love introducing it to people for the first time because it's so unusual.

“Pictures” has become our family’s favorite game. We play it when guests come over. It is so creative. Like Pictionary -but everyone has different objects they have to use to recreate an image from the photo cards. Everyone creates at the same time, then privately guess what picture everyone created, then score who is right. Everyone is always engaged, no waiting to take your turn. So much creativity. Good for up to 5 players. I would say age 8+. Our teens love it. We’ve thought of adding random items from around our house to expand the objects to create with, and maybe add our own printed photos from places we’ve been (can make our own expansion). We play a lot of games and this one is worth the price. Well designed and made. Unique and fun game play every time!

Played this at a friend's house and loved the type of game. It's a challenge, but everyones more or less equality challenged. Love the variety of pictures and the laughes at the failed attempts, while still encouraging creativity from a simple concept! Fun for varied ages, but easier with age.

There are grids, A, B, C, D for holizentally and 1,2,3,4, for vertically. Place picture cards that has pictures both sides randomelly. You pick picture token up randomelly and try to express and show the picture what you picked. There are 5 items to use. Picture Dots blocks, Shoe laces which has one short and one long, wooden blocks with varied shapes, cards that you get lots of different simple drawing, 4straight sticks&4rocks combination.Pictures are real pictures and doesn't significant difference as colors/shapes much. So this game is challenging but all ages can definitely enjoy and you can talk why you express with whatever your item was/ others can tell why they picked wrong one than yours with their perspectives.I truly suggest this if you are looking for board games with anybody.

Nice party game, a little more heft than a filler, that has a "3D Dixit" feel to it. In a sociable group, this is a perfect fit for being unique, creative, and fun. It fits the niche of social games which the serious and casual gamers can both play and feel to be on equal grounds. The scoring system in these type of games can always be a downfall, and sometimes subjective, but like Dixit, you are not voting on who you think did the best job, but on how well they matched their objective.
