Solid and light weight
Easy to install this on my 8 inch pistol bit. Creates a little wobbling on the auger but not much. I leave it on all season as I like the extra height when I am drilling with a slush bucket in a wheel house and it doesn't bother me early ice.

Works great, I would recommend putting blue Loctite on the bolt. Because after a weekend of drilling holes it starts to loosen up
